The Rockets Just Left Jalen Green Behind…
A month ago the Houston Rockets signed Jalen Green to a MASSIVE extension worth over $100 million dollars… and now he is getting benched.
Green is having the least efficient season of his career – which is saying a lot for a guy that was never very efficient in the first place – and his numbers so far on November are… frightening. 15 PPG on 35% from the floor and less than 30% from 3 – and basically the same amount of turnovers as assists.
This is a MASSIVE issue for the future of Jalen Green as an NBA player… and for a Rockets team that is very, very good… he is about to be left behind.

jalen green the type of player to either look like an all star or a low iq shot chucker depending on if his shots are falling. similar to zach lavine they both take and make difficult shots but when their in a slump its easy to play them off as ball hogs that have bad shot selection

Dude are guys hating on the Rockets. I mean real fans know it's not going to good all the time, but this man just went off for 41. Are you keeping up, or you just looking for some b.s. so you cry about trading for Giannis. And if you look at his interview after game, he said he never like this. Meaning the team is gelling and buying into what Ime is giving them. Either look at it as a whole, or stop hating. Jalen has never had a coach like this, and Silas was just babysitting the position until a better coach get there. The whole team was in limbo after Harden left with his b.s., and then that Wall experiment. Give the man a break, he's most tenured player they have, at least respect that.

i think if anything they already started to show a lack of long term commitment to him with the extension. Instead of a 4-5 year max, he got 102 for 3 years, which sounds like a lot but it's still rather moveable and he's not locked in for that many more years. 30-33 mil is just about the middle in terms of contract $$ seeing as max contracts are about 60 mil or so. so they gave him enough money to keep him around in case he still improves, and left enough room to get rid of him should he continue to not live up to it
Despite the game he had the night this video was released, I think the overall idea here is right. I would like to see them move him and Van Fleet while they still have value. Both those guys and a boat load of picks for Giannis. Let's gooooo
