If we can get a better backup for PJ instead of Kleber and O'Max, that would be nice. Maybe give Kessler Edwards more playing time, to see where is his ceiling.
I seriously hate the dishonesty with these kinds of people who cite very specific stats as to why Luka isn’t himself without giving actual stats that tell the major story. Luka this year lowest usage since rookie season, lowest time of possession and touches of his career ( both lower then his rookie season ) and the big one y’all people love to ignore which is Luka last year ran 52 pick and rolls per game this season he’s only running 32 pick and rolls per game. Imagine having access to all these other stats because it’s your job to cover the team and instead of giving people context and more detailed information about why Luka has struggled you instead just cite basic ass efficiency numbers or PPP. He’s trying to change how he plays anyone with common sense and eyes can see it and y’all blatantly ignore it and instead just cite efficiency numbers as to why he isn’t up to his standards. This is my problem with Mavs media y’all ignore the obvious and try y’all’s hardest to use certain advanced stats or main stream media talking points to talk about Luka instead of letting fans know “hey look Luka has his lowest this or that in his career he’s also running the fewest PnR’s of his career per game so it’s showing he’s trying to adapt to how Kidd and the team wants to play so we should really give him time to adjust we can’t expect a guy who’s been playing the same way because the Mavs forced him into because of the lack of talent he’s been surrounded with” but nope it’s just Luka isn’t playing good and that’s it no detailed explanation.

We all have to admit, Luka has been very disappointing to start the season. He is the glaring problem. Whats more troubling is we expected to take the summer uber serious to hush the naysayers, earn respect & lead this team to a chip. He clearly didnt grind over the summer & that says a lot about his competitiveness!
Kyrie and PJ Washington offensive game has impressed me this year!
If Lively is gonna be the permanent starter he’s gotta get the fouls under control…otherwise he’s gonna have to be 6th man bc we MUST have him

Does Klay have a no trade clause?
Luka Kyrie and Klay need shot attempts. There’s no way of getting around that fact. Dallas needs to add a PF that can play defense and doesn’t need to have the ball. Ben Simmons is on an expiring deal. Ben would be an excellent backup for Washington because he has a skill that Washington doesn’t have which is his passing ability. I’m almost certain Simmons would play with better energy around Kyrie and Kidd. No way I give up Gafford for Ben, that’s completely off the table. Maxi the 2025 first round pick Omax and Hardy is what I’d offer.
