Landry Shamet has been out for several weeks rehabbing a dislocated shoulder but reports are indicating that his rehab is going well and he could make a return to the Knicks as soon as that happens. Multiple NBA insiders have already confirmed the Knicks continued interest in adding Shamet back to the team once healthy again but they have also made a decision about his future once his recovery is complete… Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

    What you said Troy about Bridge's role coming off the bench would be great. Oh my goodness, you need to coach the Knicks, how doesn't the coach see that. Bridge would have more control of the second unit, and our second unit would be more dangerous..

    Bridges better step up! His shooting is not that great yet. He seems a little timid being on the Knicks.

    20 games from now you should see the NY Knicks club and Mikal to improve and for this club to reach the NBA elite record level.

    Ok, I prefer Shamet, but the truth is that Matt Ryan barely had a chance to prove his usefulness.
    I hope he joins the Westchester Knicks and receives new opportunities on the firsmain team if he really has to open up a spot for Shamet.

    Jericho the best defensive 5 on this team. No way he's coming out of the rotation till Mitch comes back. Amazing how biased you still remain against Sims. Thibs clearly values his role in that 2nd unit.

    Thibs' already showed he wanted to run a 10 man rotation in preseason.

    It's all about learning to play well and off of each other. 40% of your starting lineup is a new face. Towns was a late pickup. The bench is weak due to injury. When you lose Shamet, and Precious, it hurts.

    Mitch Precious and Shamet will solidify our bench and give our starters more rest to finish close games. Mitch can easily close with KAT if needed

    I think bridges off the bench would b better than hart off the bench once mitch come back if they plan on running two bigs. But still don't play mitch psst 30 that way mikal still plays starter mins

    Landry Shemet improves the second unit 10-fold he made a huge difference of the bench we have to get him back as soon as possible.

    Shamet was looking decent before the injury. Hopefully he can pick right up where he left off when he gets back. Obviously far more concerned with getting Precious and Mitch back at the moment but Shamet is another 10-15 minutes of rest per game the starters will need.
