I don't think the nets planned to tank. The "experts" didn't see how talented this team is. Sure we don't have 1 or 2 great players but we have 10 good to really good players.
Too many guys playing for contacts
To be honest, a tank is stupid and useless. Why break up the squad now when they’re trying to build a culture? Cam and Cam are playing amazing. We have one of the best head coaches in the league so far. Jalen Wilson and Zaire Williams are hooping. Not to mention Schröder. if y’all are really so hell-bent on the tank then how about we just fire Jordi? He’s the reason why we are playing so good. I will bet my life savings that if Nash or JV had our team the way it was last night we would’ve lost. So I say fuck tanking.

Nets are totally heading for Sacramento’s direction in my view. Will have fun players with a star from the draft, but is perpetually buried in mediocrity despite showings of promising growth because any all stars from the draft aren’t going to be big enough to be a goat level of player and lead to a contender level elite record. Should have just taken any lumps that came with KD and Kyrie irrespective of their buy in.
