    No comments on refereeing? Painful to watch the Raps get screwed over again and again by the refs. Pistons were super physical and no fouls especially on RJ.

    That discrepancy will disappear.

    The team developed with without SB. RJ looks better with the ball in his hands, and that positively affected everyone else. SB has some catching up to do, and he deserves some patience. But give RJ some time at point.

    Scottie gonna hold RJ back from becoming a star, we’ll trade RJ one day because we can’t part with Barnes, RJ will go in to be a star and we’ll get 5 years of the slowest no bag offence we’ve ever seen

    RJ is better than Scottie. When RJ is in the leader role he is scoring over 30 and assisting and rebounding but because Scottie is the team leader whenever he is played other players have to step back. Scottie isn’t scoring 40 and he need to put up 30-50 every given night.

    simple, give the ball to rj, let him run the offense…..scottie off ball, moving ,cutting, rebounding, pick n roll, run the floor. rj higher iq

    RJ Barrett is not a star calibre player. have you watched him the last 2 games smh. ben this is pathetic, expect more from you. dont be delusional.
    his defence is TERRIBLE, huge liability. turnover specialist. slow as F*CK…litterly flat footed and moves like a 44 year old out there not 24. the last few games have just showed me he is NOT part of this future. we will trade him soon enough but im done watching this guy. hes trash

    @raptorsdigest Something strange is happening? The team hasn't played together in full capacity for how long. Even now IQ isn't olaying. You've reported on that and raps staff and players have all spoken on it. Let them play healthy and learn to gel my boy! With that said, i think RJ is gonna outshine SB! The NY Knicks never utilized RJ right and we're giving him the chance.

    Anyone saying Scottie is going to become a Superstar is delusional. He's had 3.5 years to prove he's "The Guy" and has failed miserably. We literally gave a $225-270M max to a player who is averaging roll player numbers. RJ is the real #1 on this team. At least he's not scared to go to the rim and take shots. Unlike Scottie who just passes and hides in the corner.

    I agree that Scottie slows the offense down a bit but at the end of the day he’s our best player, I’m sure if Darko has a talk with him about speeding up the offense, he’ll do it

    Everyone better chill with RJB….. he is a really good downhill player, he can get to the rim, a good spot up 3 point shooter and his playmaking is really improving….
    However, he basically has no pull up in the midrange or at the 3 point line… he is also a below avg FT shooter for the amount of times he goes to the line… his shooting mechanics are poor and unless that changes he is going to have inconsistency in his game….

    Here’s a thought. Maybe play Scottie in his natural position as a forward, and RJ as a guard. The last 2 games had RJ playing the four and Scottie playing the 2. That’s not who Scottie is. RJ could have facilitated the same points for SB as a guard and would have included more of the team to spread the floor. Even Jak was under utilized with Scottie playing guard.

    This is only Coach issue. He doesn’t have any plan in the last 4 minutes. Look at most of close game coach and his staff no plan. Maybe it is lack of communication.They need a coach with basic IQ. Don’t blame any players.

    The absence of a reliable 3 point shooter is showing huge right now. Considering the current mix of who is actually available to play, they should be starting: Barnes, RJ, Agbaji, Boucher, and Jak (assuming they want to win the game). Bench then is Shead, Mitchell, Battle, Mogbo, Fernando. Really need to get Dick, Quickley, and hopefully even Brown, and Olynyk back not to mention getting to see if Walter can develop into a shooter/ slasher with some teeth on D. Have the injuries really been this bad or did tanking start from game 1?
