Coaching staff needs to take responsibility for putting Simone’ in a place to succeed. Management already underpaid him, but he is a very much needed player that is trying to add too much to his game at once.
They need to get him back to catch & shoot, 3&D. That’s it! H
Holland gotta sit if he keeps taking dumb threes and shooting them over the rim. Teams are daring him to shoot. Even yelling out. Let him shoot ! The turnovers plus the bad shots. Gotta sit.
Holland is a trajan pick. Simone was apart of a weaver trade. Simone will sit but it should be holland. I would like to see holland play heavy minutes in the G league to grow his game
Said it when they signed Beasley. Best off-season addition. Reason was he’s been a consistent 40% three point shooter at high volume for years. He’s doing same thing now. Bad game against the raptors and he does make some bad turnovers but he’s been good overall.

Teks future. Who knows. Part of the problem is JB isn’t using him the same as he was last year. That’s one gripe I do have with JB. Tek was a 40% corner three point shooter and really good off the catch and shoot. Now he’s not even given a fraction of those opportunities. So you see him drive and he stinks at it. Yet you see Holland get these spot ups and he’s an absolute disaster of a shooter. He should always be cutting or driving to the rim. Never shooting threes. Just a weird coaching job and the players not having high enough iq to do the right thing.
Simone, may not wanna be here! How he is playing speaks volumes. Detroit can be a tough place to live. The energy in this city is arguably one of the worst in the nation. Hypothetically, this could be affecting his play and it shows. Just a could be/alternative scenario..🤔🤔
I think the best way is to ease him in and let him push others out of the way when he is ready.
Tek is off-ball shooter but he hasn't been used as one this season. I also wonder if he needs more touches/bigger role to thrive. He hasn't played with this small amount of field goal attempts in years. He was quite bad with the Jazz until he got increased role, due injuries and then he was really good. Even kept his starter role once everyone was healthy. No reason to keep him as the 8th or 9th man. Either chance/increase his role or trade him.
Can’t say enough about Beasley! Extend him asap. Don’t let him go!

I'm dropping Holland from rotation as his offense is too much a liability as of now. Too many turnovers and lack of 3 pt ability. Let him have some assignments in the G League to gain some confidence and clean up his offense. I think we need to keep playing Tech, Beasley, and THJ substantial minutes through the trade deadline and trade the one who returns the most value. I would love to keep and resign Beasley and trade Tech or THJ. Then that frees up Holland to get back in the rotation after the trade.
Friday’s game against Indiana is a cup game. I hope Cade will be able to play.

Simone doesn’t trust his foot he had surgery on I’ll give him 3 months.. you know as an athlete the most important is your knees and feet. If your knees goes out you still can maneuver at a lesser degree if it’s bad but problems with your feet is ideally worse everything starts there it’s your foundation!
9 man rotation when healthy-Cade,Jaden,Beasley,Ausar,Duren,Tobias,Stew,THJ,Holland. Simone,Sasser,Reed as subs for injuries, off nights and blow outs.
Fontecchio is the obvious selection out. If fontecchio is the odd man out, you have a nice rotation, you must have a solid dependable rotation. Which would say the Pistons are about to make a trade. there will be teams in pursuit of what the Pistons have of their rotation. Your rotation "spacing "method is really questionable for this team. But I get it because you're protecting Kade Cunningham's weaknesses. Ivy by himself creates spacing. Which is why you can play Ron Holland and ausar Thompson together. AUSAR Thompson is going to help out Cade the most. I like Tim hardaway Jr in the lineup in a rotation because he is taking charges he's making the extra play to benefit this team when his jump shot is not falling. With that said I do see the Pistons possibly trading him to a contender.
I think we could learn a lot about how JB plans to use Ausar in the offense. Similar to how he used Lavert when on the floor with Mitchell and Garland.

Ca e Cunningham is not a leader. He and the team are being led by our Veterans Tobias Harris, THJ, and Malik Beasley.
Ca e Cunningham is padding stats sitting out games so his numbers don't fall off when facing good, long & tall rebounding, defensive opponents. It won't help. No chance for an All Star appearance. Can't be a Star player without wins.
It's obvious that Simone needs to play with Cade. He was great last year when being fed the ball in open spots. He was also very good for Utah last year. It's hard to evaluate his early struggles without seeing him be put in more favorable situations.
