The Denver nuggets just tricked the entire NBA, 2 weeks ago this team looked dead in the water then out of nowhere they beat the unbeaten Oklahoma City Thunder lead by Nikola Jokic and Russell Westbrook

  1. They didn't trick anybody except fans who don't know anything about the game. Coming out after 3 or 4 games & producing Chicken Little/sky is falling analysis was silly, & that's on you. Teams often start slow especially if they're missing key players. Why was that hard to grasp?

  2. the season jokic is having so far is mythical if he keeps this up for 82 games or close to it, it will be a goat regular season

  3. "The new adjustment is point Jokic" alright man you must not have watched the Nuggets much because really ever since becoming the starting center, he's often brought the ball up after getting a rebound or starting a possession. He naturally does it a bit more when Murray is out, but even when Murray is healthy he still does it more often than any other big or big adjacent player.

  4. As a nuggets fan, their only issue now is their bench is still very thin, as long as they all stay healthy I’m thinking the could have a deeper playoff run maybe western semi, or the conference championship, but the depth still isn’t their for another championship appearance.

  5. Braun's move at 1:45… The first step can be deemed as a gather step…? Bordering on a travel.

  6. I understand Westbrook had a decent game here, but tbh he was still -14. He's also at like 41% EFG and 38% from 2. Hopefully this is the start of Westbrook getting it together so the Nuggets can contend.

  7. This does not excuse the Nuggets front office for their shit job in the offseason .They are wasting the best player in basketball to develop scrubs .

  8. Jokic being Jokic is always great for the Nuggets. His ability to score practically at will is something to behold. The real trick is Westbrook knocking down open 3's. He was shooting .296 from the arc just a couple of years ago in Lakerland. Let's hope he can keep doing it, especially come playoff time.

  9. Sad to say, when the team was 0-2, it became clear that half the fans in Nuggets nation are fairweather.

  10. No, they didn't, it's just Jokic showing why he is irrefutably the best player in the world – and all numbers still say that Westbrook in the court is bad news for the Nuggets, you just have to do a quick research on his offensive and deffensive efficiency and at his plus/minus and net plus/minus.

  11. Only if Russ can stay consistent. That is it & that is the only possible solution for them this season.

  12. Thunder already beat Nuggets in Denver THIS season. Denver was not going to lose again at home, and they only won by 2 points with the best player on the planet. How is this is a big win?

  13. People are saying "Lakers fans are sad now" as if y'all weren't calling Westbrook all sorts of fucked up names 😂 and no I'm not a Lakers fan

  14. Nikola Jokic is in my top 10 of all time. I don't care if he's only won 1 ring, he's just too dominant offensively. At worst a top 3 passer/ floor general of all time, its just his size. Curry may be greater (more accolades, accomplishments), but Jokic is better.

  15. I’ll admit I didn’t think the Russ move was good, but if I’ll be happy to be proven wrong.

I like Russ and would be happy for him to succeed

  16. Don't sleep on Denver. Jocic is objectively the best all around player on the planet. And Russ. Sweet Russ. Russell Westbrook brings an energy that is palpable and infectious. Folks who were saying that Denver had not improved over the summer were either haters or were ignoring what Russ was still capable of. Either way, I see more Larry O'Brien Trophies in the Nuggs' future.

  17. never jump to pass is a stupid rule.. I think it should be this "never jump to find a pass"… great passers know where they want to pass it, so they can jump to make a pass if you already know where its going

  18. Used to take Jokic 20 games to play with his amazing consistency but playing during the Olympics and winning the Bronze medal helped him come back stronger than ever.

  19. Great analysis for sure. Lots of good teaching going on itn Denver. Lots of fun for basketball fans to watch.

  20. Wilt Chamberlain would have loved watching Jokic play. Even though Wilt was a athletic freak of nature he had a high basketball IQ and did whatever the team needed him to just lie Jokic.
