Nuggets overpaid their talent and they can't sign anyone but washed up has beens like Westbrook. Having a good GM is important in achieving success. Calvin Booth is not the one.
NBA teams love gambling with their 3 point lead. Normally you should foul them so they don't get a chance at tying the game. I mean they are lucky Denver looked bad, but it's a gamble.
The Nuggets had better get their act together. It seems to me that Jokic and Westbrook have issues that need to be resolved.

5:43 may have been the beginning of the end for Denver. Too much messing around with the game on the line, followed by a turnover on the same play, with Minnesota scoring 2 off of it.

If the Wolves weren't in the Nuggets heads from last year, they are now.
Braun should damn well know that if you dunk on a man and decide to continue closing in on him, of COURSE that man isn't going to respond well. Maybe they both got offsetting fouls. Video didn't show.
I learned years back not to cheer for teams with Westbrook and/or Harden on them. They are each great, but they bring a negative energy with them that can't be good for any team. Especially now that they are bouncing between teams. They have lost any sense of loyalty. I'd be surprised if either guy wins a title in a major role. These guys are fantastic at basketball, but I don't think they take a bench role, which is funny because I think, before making the big bucks, Harden won a 6th man.

As a nuggets fan this ending doesn't even make me mad. That was a great game. People talking trash are hilarious. Jokic to Gordon is still insane, the CB dunk on Golbert was hilarious. The Wolves are just a better shooting team and that's why they won.
This should be a Westbrook highlight everything he did in the floor was right and he single handily put them back in the game and kept them in the game late in the 4th quarter this late in his career what a guy man.
