Context is required here also… the wolves struggled all game. Toronto shot 70+% in the first quarter, the wolves were shooting 35% at some point. They fought and scratched their way to get the game tied at that point. I don’t blame Julius for not nonchalantly giving up a possession because lil Rudy’s delicate feelins might get hurt(because he didn’t get the ball). Getting the ball down low to “Oven mitts” was not the best option at that point. Ant knew that, that’s why he had his hands up(like WTF?!) BEFORE the three second call!

Too many people in media are suffering from mass psychosis, a few popular people dump on him and the go along get along game follow suit. Give the big who sealed it the ball.

Randell is a cancer
Rudy got pouty and helped cost the Wolves a chance to win. Gobert had Scottie Barnes sealed, but it wasn't that clear cut. Rudy has crappy hands and fumbles a ton of passes, and Barnes is a good defender. We've seen Gobert miss a lot of shots at the rim even when he does catch the pass. Gobert should have got the hell out of the lane when Randle didn't immediately get him the ball. This isn't the first time that Gobert has let his pride get in the way of winning a basketball game. Last year at Cleveland he made the money sign at a referee after being called for a foul while offensive rebounding. The resulting Cleveland free throw tied the game and took it to OT, where the Wolves lost. Rudy is probably the worst NBA center in regards to a back to the basket game, no matter how deep he catches the ball.
55 year Knicks fan came over in trade telling you Randle 1 on 1 from that close (FT line) is one or no dribble away from easy bucket with 50% chance of And 1 vs ANYONE. Rudy gets ball that low he's fouled immediately same as Mitchel Robinson would be or any 55-60% FT shooter!
Rudy needs to do what is best for team; defending rim and rebound without clogging lanes Juju and Ant need to attack with downhill game. Randle will be 23/8/5 by mid season if stone hands Rudy gets the hell out of the way. Randle is a very adequate 3 shooter but his efficiency goes through roof in paint where he is preeminent paint bully – and he's 79% from stripe. Juju is a 3x All Star 2x All NBA stud at apex of his prime who has no problem deferring to Ant like he did Brunson but deferring to Rudy? NFW!!! 3 second violation was bad enough but quick foul right afterward because he was pissed off was HS level emotions run amok at expense of team's winning a close hard fought game which is totally inexcusable! 100% behind Ant immediately letting Rudy know that better not ever happen again!
Divo is a very diverse combo guard on both ends of court and one of best 3 shooters in show. He and and Naz are great coming off Bench just not so sure about who most reliable 8th rotation guy is Dillingham (-14) or Alexander-Walker (1 for 6) in combined 36 minutes in Conley's absence vs Raptors scoring just 8 points in combined 36 minutes – maybe neither!
Conley #'s have dropped off cliff from last year and he has complained of hand issue so what's with that? Regardless not having him vs Raptors (ankle) did not help our chances especially with both Alexander-Walker and Dillingham's poor play and Divo having rare off night.

We Knicks fans criticized Brunson a couple of weeks ago for not passing the ball more to KAT. We love tf out Brunson, but we'll call out anybody for not making the right play. That being said; pertaining to this game, no matter who the play is called for, the right play is to pass the ball to Rudy.
I'll tell you this. 5 years of Randle is more than enough. He thinks he's the best player on any team.
5 years of bad handle, turn around spin move fumbles, dribble the ball off his foot, get triple teamed and jack up the shot when he has 2 teammates open.

Listening to Chandler Parsons, the biggest quitter of all time, comment on someone else quitting on a play is hilarious. The dude actually suckered 2 franchise s into paying him a contract before he quit on them. Fraudulent is who he was.
Parsons is spot on. Whether Randle is wrong or not, you don't get a 3 second violation on purpose during any game, but especially when you're struggling and it's a tight game in the 4th.

As a knicks fan, we will gladly take Gobert for Mitchell Robinson. Randle is a notorious ball hog, which will be 10 times worse in a contract year. That should've been a pass to the deep post, especially when you are looking right at the man. He tried that hero ball with Brunson as well, thank god he is gone.
Edwards is a coward, don't try to bully the soft Frenchie, you need to hold Julius " as long as I get mines" Randle accountable as well. He ball hogs and play no defense. If the play isn't for him, he is moping around the court.
Some of these comments are silly. Rudy has horrible hands and no post moves. Julius made the right decision.
