    Vince is one of those few NBA superstars who were not only amazing players BUT ALSO AFFECTED THE BASKETBALL CULTURE of his era. Countless number of people didn't only TRY to play like him but also….to look like him, mimic his gestures, scowl like him, use #15, wear his Raptors jersey, buy Nike Shox, wear baggy shorts, shave their head and use a headband. That's how you know someone has become a superstar on and off the court! That's how you can say someone has affected the culture.

    Vince definitely put Toronto and Canada on the map!! Much people didn't even know about the raptors until Vince Carter came through. And the dunk contest definitely made things even bigger
