We have 2 serviceable players above 6'8, both small for their position and one hasn't been playing well. Problem seems obvious
This is a Monte problem he hasn’t drafted good besides Keegan, he hasn’t addressed the problem Domas is great but a little undersized he’s strong but big teams just run him over. Keegan is undersized as well and no depth.
Stop turning a blind eye to McNairs lackluster movement on this roster that’s the same as 3 seasons ago,all but Derozan is the same,ALL !Jason Ross not understanding what is missing,Sabonis intimidation at the rim is non-existent.Where is his right hand man?Sabonis is undersized to begin with and Huerter being the focus of opponents driving the ball to the rim at every opportunity.Kings have the worst duo in the league,Huerter on ball defender and Sabonis at the rim defender.Wake-up Sacramento sports media is a joke.
Kings still need to find consistency in winning. Building that chemistry and finding there game as a team. Whether players are injured or not. We still have to get it done. We have a very talented roster not to be a top team in the West even this early in the season.
This is the NBA — any team can beat any other team on any given night, if they are sufficiently motivated. It is not smart to give opponents extra motivation. It's no secret that teams gear up to make sure that we can't light the beam against them (ask DeRozan and McDermott). Lets pull the plug on the beam and instead take victories humbly and graciously. It's no wonder that no other team has followed our "beam" lead. They know how their players gear up and circle King's games – to try to quelch the beam. For folks that think our home losses have no explanation – the beam might be a part of it.
