This Rockets is an annoying team they trying to be the Thunder
Hey, I really liked your article on S.I. about the player grades. really spot on. every time i read your articles on SI it makes me proud, bro. You're a great basketball mind/mouth.
⚡⚡⚡ THUNDER UP ⚡⚡⚡#1 OKC OKC OKC OKC
WE GETS NO REAL FOUL CALLS😙
Hhhhhooollllddd tthhhaattt LLLL
I hate how Houston fans are acting like they are the best in the west. FVV is not get 35 plus again against okc and a fully healthy okc destroys this team
What's with the refs! It's like every team has 10 plus more free throws us every freaking game. Still, I'm actually very impressed with Thunder especially since the Rockets were healthy while we're missing three key rotational players. I can't wait for the next time we match up. This will be a match up to watch.
You know, when you've watched this game as long as I have you pick up a few things.
This issue with the FT discrepancy is nothing new to an Oklahoma basketball fan. It's nothing new to any small market team's fans. Pro or college.
I first saw it with Billy Tubbs' OU Sooner teams in the 80's and Tubbs handled it aggressively. I think Steve Kerr learned it from Tubbs when his Arizona team lost to the Sooners in the Final Four in '88. Rick Carlisle didn't passively take it when the small market Pacers were taking it in the shorts in last season's playoffs and Daigneault shouldn't be taking it now.
Fourteen additional free throws. Thats the gap in FT's tonight. Cut that in half and the Thunder probably win this game.
Analytics wasn't a thing back in Tubbs day, but he knew one technical may give up a point but if it got a better whistle it was worth 5 to 10 points on his side of the scoreboard before a game was over. It also fired up his team.
It's called gamesmanship and Daigneault has to, not could, has to swallow his pride or whatever is holding him back and level the playing field because his team has had a belly full and things almost got out of hand tonight.
refs ROYALLY ROOOOOALLY SCREWED us our whistle is trash with them this season can’t stand it
🌩️🥶🔶🌩️🔶🥶🌩️
THUNDER🆙
Could have really used Chet tonight
Strangely lopsided officiating, again. But, again, "COTY" Daigneault sits SGA either at the wrong time or for too long. He caught fire and scored 15 in the 3rd. The coach then sits him 5 minures in a close game while the lead dwindles and JDub doesn't have it going. Now SGA has cooled down and the game is too close for comfort.
Your #1 player shouldn't be bwhind your #2 player in minutes and fgas on a night where the #1 is on fire and your #2 is struggling. If SGA gets brought back early and gets 38-40 minutes, this is most likely a W. That's what all the other top teams do in games like this. There's no excuse for Daigneault. This is the 3rd time this season he's cost the team a win with these bad substitutions.
Texas an okc problem. Yes. It’s still December. Watch out in April!
I think Mark time management on SGA cost us at least four games this year. I don't know why he always takes him out when he's getting hot. In Isaiah Joe, I haven't had more than one good game since March of last year. I 100% agree with you when it comes to Wiggins. I believe he should take more Isaiah Joe minutes. He is not the shooter that people think he is he's too small, we need a shooting around 6'7, not Isaiah Joe size
And for the life of me, I don't understand why he keeps putting D Jones in the game he is not ready.
Offense ain't right in the clutch. We need a 3rd creator.
Take the L, okc lost to a team they should beat…. Don’t care y’all missed Chet, yall have the best player in Shai
should have played dillion brooks a little more but houston is for real.
Hey, Rylan. What do you think explains why our team 3-point percentage is down this year? Recently I heard the stat that OKC is around 21st in the league VS. being #1 last year.
Yeah, Dort was electric defensively und he uses his hands really effectively to hit people in the face. Come on! Your guy slaps and getting no flagrant and you are talking about lopsided officiating. Elbowing seems allowed too.
Chet can never fall again it be over
