The Memphis Grizzlies ARE BACK

The Memphis Grizzlies ARE BACK

Just a couple years ago it felt like the Grizzlies had one of the brightest futures in the NBA. Ja Morant had emerged as a legit superstar, Jaren Jackson Jr became one of the best defensive players in the NBA and they had a young exciting supporting cast. Some off court issues and a ton of injuries would halt that bright future for a bit, but with Ja back this season and the team relatively healthy it feels like those Grizzlies teams from a couple years ago are back.

  1. They still got some growing up to do. And Zach Edey is still a rookie so I'd give them some more time.

  2. I always considered last season for the Grizzlies to be payback for all the stunts they pulled in 2023. Sometimes that's all you need to get rid of the bad mojo.

  3. Grizzlies have had their last 6 wins come against losing teams like the 76ers, Bulls, pelicans, pistons, pacers, and Trailblazers. Even their wins against teams like the Magic, Lakers, or Nuggets occurred because of circumstances like star injury or a home-road back to back for the opposing team.

While I am relieved that the Grizzlies are finding a groove after last season, they are still adjusting and I worry that nba coverage is gonna turn harsh real fast once their schedule gets harder.

  4. Man, you guys have come a long way since 2022. Can't believe that by the end of the season this will be 3rd full year on youtube. Always watching, great stuff.

  5. It’s crazy that the Southwestern division has the rockets,Mavs, grizzlies, okc and the pels has to be the best division in basketball

  6. Since the Timberwolves are "soft as hell" right now, the Grizzlies can have just as much if not more success than they did in 2022. Obviously, the Nuggets are still the biggest challenge with the Warriors not far behind, but the Grizzlies can definitely make a name for themselves this season.

  7. Grizz Rockets and Thunder top three teams in the west all young too. West only getting stronger😭
