Dude if you lived through that time it was crazy, KD left, James left. Russ was kinda the last one standing and boy was standing on business. He was dunking and rebounding EVERYTHING.
I'm sorry some people left me no choice. I'm putting my foot down 😭, I'm a real Westbrook fan. If you are a fan of the Oklahoma City Thunder, then bottoms up to you cause when Westbrook was at okc people were saying "he's a ball hog" and people gave him the name "westbrick". Also, when he left OKC and played with Bradley Beal, people said, "Westbrook is washed," and that "Westbrook will never be the same" yo. People were talking MAD trash about this dude, and I just shook my head. Westbrook dealt with a lot when everyone departed OKC. Derek Fisher, KD, James Harden, Serge Ibaka, Sufalosha, Kendrick Perkins, and DJ Augustin. Him and Russ played together in college. Nick Collinson was on the squad, but he later retired, and I can't forget about my boy, Enes Kanter. He was him. Shouout to them boys Jeremy Lamb, Andre Roberson, and my favorite player in the NBA Anthony Morrow #2. Westbrook had to deal with critics, and ultimately, he got better at his craft. There were also high expectations with Sam Presti. People just didn't understand the value Westbrook had, The gift and greatness came along the way. He worked hard to get to that elite level. I'll be honest in the beginning. Westbrook was a wild, aggressive player, but he grew outta those habits and started realizing the importance of team ball. He wasn't that dynamic passing the ball when he came in, It was something he had to work toward. He probably didn't get us to the western conference playoffs when KD left, but we were in the playoffs and lost to James Harden (when he played for the rockets). But I appreciate Westbrook for EVERYTHING, I wouldn't trade him for anyone. That man is the face of OKC in my eyes. If you a real one, you remember that 2016-2017 year…… YESSIR Kia MVP baby. #thunderup#AMO2
He averaged a triple double but had terrible efficiency and was a turnover machine. That’s why his teams never won while he was getting great stats. Greatest PG of all time for Westbrook is crazy 😂
Russ definitely had an era just as big as Steph’s but with no rings. And to be honest if Steph had no rings like Russ, then Steph would only be called a great shooter at the PG position and not consider a PG GOAT. 🦾🦾
Problem was his inefficiency.. yeah he got a lot on the board but that's because he had the ball exponentially more than anyone else. Kobe was the same way. I wanna see the field goal percentage alongside turnovers per game before I get too excited about the good stats. Tell the whole story
Yeahhh ok.. Steph aint better than magic, he aint better than jordan, he aint better than lebron.. he aint better than westbrook??? Yo he coulda kept that thought to himself
Winning at the high level is what seperates the greats from Russell. His stats dont contribute to winning at a high level so its easy to overlook empty stats.
It's called stat padding!!! He doesn't lift up a team. He brings them down. He is a me first player. Why do you think people call him WestBrick cuz he shoots when he shouldn't. He isn't even close to the top pgs of all time.😊

That 20-20-20 game was insane
People forget westbook was a stat padder but i agree he is one of the greatest PG of all time.
Dude got a fair argument… Very valid point.
statman , statman…
His championship stats don’t add up so he’s statistically not but but he still a dog
Westbrook is the most talented with crazy skill and athleticism. He makes mental error in crunch time though. This is his biggest weakness
Lakers & no ring just played with character that’s why they put him in Denver
Statistically, he has 0 rings. Next
No championships
i usually hate mccants’ takes buh that one im not mad at
Before I even watched I stated he was better than curry one on one wes dominating
Some yall haters saying that westbrook ruined the triple double Stat, I think that's the biggest compliment you could give him
God is great / amazing ❤❤ / Amen
🙏🏼
Once he did that with Washington ik he was legit. Carried that trash team to the playoffs. It was NUTS
how many championships does he has again🤨🤨, ohrd thought so. But can be debatable to put rus top 2 or 3 just not over steph
Facts

Shout out to Steven Adam's man such a great teammate 👏
Russ that nigga bruh
I think they would have won a Championship in OKC if he played the 2.
The problem with Westbrook is that Is not the playmaker you would give the ball the last 5 minutes of a tight game, overall in the playoff.
Steph Curry is the best PG of all time
Russ definitely had an era just as big as Steph’s but with no rings.
And to be honest if Steph had no rings like Russ, then Steph would only be called a great shooter at the PG position and not consider a PG GOAT. 🦾🦾
Not
Unfortunately people don't watch Wizards and Okc.
Oscar Robertson almost averaged a triple double…for his whole career…he was the man
Problem was his inefficiency.. yeah he got a lot on the board but that's because he had the ball exponentially more than anyone else. Kobe was the same way. I wanna see the field goal percentage alongside turnovers per game before I get too excited about the good stats. Tell the whole story
Back to back scoring titles, back to back all star mvp, back to back to back triple double season average! Mfs don’t speak on this shi!
The only player to win All star mvp back to back since like 1959!
Westbrook is my Guy
Not a Russel fan & I honestly can’t find an argument
Yeahhh ok.. Steph aint better than magic, he aint better than jordan, he aint better than lebron.. he aint better than westbrook??? Yo he coulda kept that thought to himself
He is statistically but his style of play won’t win you chips! I still love bro he first ballot HOF
Winning at the high level is what seperates the greats from Russell. His stats dont contribute to winning at a high level so its easy to overlook empty stats.
Jokic and Luka will break his record
Magic and Curry still better easyi
…MAN!! SO WHY CANT HE WIN??
Shooting percentage is boo-boo and he turns it over a lot too… 🤷🏼♂️
I'm waiting for the lie. And I'm not even a fan
He played for STATS not to win my guy
I agree
Not the best pg
What beat is this from
