Miller's only in his second year in the NBA. We're talking like he's been there for six and still doing the same thing. He's still got time to develop that handle. Comparing his handle to a fifth year Melo's is ridiculous.

The number of turnovers was ridiculous. Can't win when you lose so many possessions.
Is mark Williams ever playing basketball again?
Naaah man, I am not buying the segment on Melo's iso-ball. And I am not saying that this is his fault either. I think Lee is a good coach with good ideas, but the offense is horrible. And the question is what happened in the training camp. Mello, Miller and Mann (with Cody some time later) came to the preseason with full support to play AAU 1-on-1 basketball, with Micic and Grant removed from the ball as they are the ones that play with slower pace. Then the hot hand gets the ball for several possessions in a row, offense becomes stagnant and Micic gets benched when everybody is standing when he tries to set the offense, Grant was turned into Nick Richards type pick enabler (Nick rolls and Grant pops difference). Then gradually you get to the last two games when Melo takes 10 shots in a row, and when he leaves to the bench nobody can shot or even dribble, because they ran up and down the court for 10 minutes prior. This year the focus should have been on individual progress and correct habits in the system; As there is no system (AAU bb is not a system) there is no progress and the young players will be turned to Andre Robertsons of the world (3 and D without any IQ for the game) – see the scoreboard in the next 10 games for Salaun and we will see if there is any progress. This is all on Lee for not implementing offense with passing, movement and spacing, which should enable good habits even if we lose by 35 points; which is in my opinion a better option then isoMelo and a loss by 3p.
Melo scored more than his entire team combined. That was crazy!
They need to treat the kid with a little more respect man, they need to look after him. They should give his brother Gelo a fair shot, if he’s healthy, he seems the way better option and is familiar with the setup

Magic fan here. Last night I attended my first magic road game and although the game itself was atrocious, I am happy with the ugly win.
Sidenote; Spectrum Center is a beautiful arena. The interior is a definite nice look. Buzz City a great fan base ✊
Maybe when Mark Williams comes back from injury we will have better defense and someone lamelo can do pick and rolls with. I dont want him to leave. Our commentators pair well with his crazy shots lol
Its not being talked about enough but LaMelo’s usage is through the roof, and the team needs to protect him from injuries. It’s not worth it to play him to the point of exhaustion game after game, when the roster isn’t healthy enough to win regardless

The payers they were missing are 10 times better and more impactful than the hornets players missing. So to summarize what the take was from most people if the hornets had a full team they could of beaten the short handed magic. It's sad if that's the only way hornets can beat good teams.

2 things I noticed from last night.
The magic where able to move past screens like a hot knife threw butter.
Drive and kick to the corner was lethal against us.
Both are fixed with mark Williams playing again
Orlando Magic are gonna surprise a lot of peoples this year. They’re really good.
I agree that Brandon needs to tighten his handle, but y'all have short memories. Y'all were giving Melo a pass on all of his turnovers a few weeks ago because he had to press to make plays since Miller was out and now it's because of his usage. Melo averages 6.9 assists and 4.4 turnovers per game this season, that's terrible. Melo hasn't improved on his turnovers at all, his lowest was his rookie year. It's also pretty obvious that Brandon is pressing to make plays too but your reasoning is he may have a fatal flaw and lower ceiling if he can't figure it out by next year. Miller was hurt so it's taking him time to get in a rythm and adjust to the level of attention he's getting. Last night, Miller was being guarded by Isaac, who's the best on ball defender in the league, and took him off the dribble multiple times. Brandon's TO's were from being double-teamed in bad spots and no one coming to help him. Brandon averaged 1.8 TOs last year and 2.8 this year. Not to mention he has to create his own looks now because Lee can't come up with plays for him and Melo is chucking shots. None of the players outside of Melo can get in a rhythm because Melo takes 10 shots in a row and doesn't move the ball 1st. No wonder everyone shot horribly. Brutal to watch this type of basketball.
Lamelo is the best point guard in the league right now
Hornets need strength in the middle. Diabate is a beast on the boards but Hornets players are mostly skinny guys and get pushed around a lot. No Nick?, is he really that injured for this long? No Mark, I give up on him. What kind of injury does he have that he just doesn't play? are the Hornets tanking again? MIles?
The problems that Coach Lee has right now will help him to be a better coach. Its only his first year as a head coach. He will get better together with the team.
