The best way I seen someone describe this team is that they haven’t built around anyone, not spo, not Jimmy, not Herro, not bam, not youth movement, not championship squad, no direction just a bunch of pieces to different puzzles

The star player that's attainable for the Heat is Fox on Sac, who has one year left on his contract.
Here's the pathway to get him. Fox must decide he wants to be in Miami. Have his agent Rich Paul, tell Sac Fox has absolutely no intention to extend his contract with them this off-season and wants to be traded to Miami or he'll play out his final season and become a free agent after next season and just sign with Miami as a free agent
Then Miami must, right now, start making moves to clear cap space to sign Fox as a free agent next off-season
Once it's known that Miami is clearing cap space for Fox who only wants play with Miami, and his agent who's the most powerful one in the NBA tells all other teams, don't even think about trying to trade for Fox because he's not resigning with you, this off-season and possibly even as early as the trade deadline this season IF Sac is clearly going nowhere, Miami can trade for Fox and Sac will kinda be forced to take whatever deal they can get from Miami for Fox or just lose him for nothing next-off-season.
As Bruce Willis would say, "Welcome to the party pal." Should have traded Jimmy this off-season, gotten assets and play the younglings to get experience.

I blame everyone for this. We suck no matter what. Bam is trash this year; Jimmy always has some stupid injuries; it’s frustrating. No changes. Get rid of Duncan and Terry. He’s good on the sorry team, not a playing team. We might as well go to the lottery
BAM has been missing so many fall away layups all season, instead of just going up strong and simply dunking the freaking ball. This is why his shooting percentage is so low. He looks completely lost on offense and Spo has no clue how to get the best version of him. He played more efficient during the Olympics with a bunch of guys he has really never played with.

If the Heat was to make a trade, I would say to go for size. This team is too small to compete against the better teams in the east.
Our max players are limited. While Boston has Tatum Jaylen and Jrue and they can pretty much do everything on the basketball court.

Bam's energy, body language, and overall production has been horrid since he got his bag. Homie is pulling a Whiteside on us. Got his bag and turned into one of my least favorite players to watch on this team. Not to mention his recent statements where he expressed his love/hate relationship being the team 'captain'. Heat 'CULTURE' is gimmicky as hell and cliche, but he sure as hell doesn't personify it whatsoever. I've really gotten to this point where i'm 100% on board with moving past Bam. Trade him while we can.

Pat Riley needs to learn from Brad Stevens and make bold trades, even if it means trading away fan favorites (as Brad did with Marcus Smart and Time Lord).
