The Jimmy butler era is over. Since last year. Its time to close the chapter. And if Bam still cheeks, trade him too

Not trading Jimmy, the rest of the team sucks without him all the time. With the expectation of Herro. Bam to buddy buddy with everyone where he doesn’t want to go at other teams with extreme prejudice. Someone like that not embracing that type of mindset isn't no leader of mine. Let alone his offensive game is broken. If you are not scoring like Chris Bosh on a night to night basis, then im not trading Jimmy or letting him go. Reason why Jimmy and Bam was asking for another Star to do all the scoring next to Herro, so him and Bam can handle the defensive part and get theirs when its necessary….but Pat and Spo so convinced this supporting cast is really good, but they really arent.
If we do Trade our guy i think Brandon Ingram or Jalen Green would be good players to look at
As long as sleepy Pat continues wasting his prime and Bams, we don’t deserve him.
Failing for the last 6 years to get the man another legitimate costar who can score at ease considering all he’s done for us is flat out pathetic.

Everyone is mad at jimmy, but no one is blaming the front office. They are the ones that failed to get Jimmy some legit help when he was at his Prime and brought us to to finals…… other teams lose so they make necessary changes to improve we are the only team that loses but continue to keep bringing back the same players talking about "we have enough" all the blame lies with the front office it's not Jimmy's fault that he never got the help he needed
Offer Bam Jimmy and Jaime for Ant-Man or Maxey. Move your ass Pat, you keep waiting and we gonna end up giving the keys to Herro 😠

Y’all fans fall in love with talented but unsuccessful players and situations. Jimmy is closer to his 40s than his 20s. This core won’t catch Bos or Cavs. But y’all still want to wait for the star player to run with Jimmy. Hasn’t that been the story the last 3 to 4 off-seasons. Time to go young and stock picks. Even that would put us in better positions to get a start to run with Bam
What if Jimmy was hinting at getting a long term deal with Miami for cheap like a 3 year 45 mil contract with a no trade clause so he can retire here and still get paid but won’t have to be the #1 option shoot he could even come off the bench
If they’re going to let Jimmy walk, might as well trade Bam and Herro and start over. Bam and Herro can’t lead a team. We’ve seen them without Jimmy and it’s not pretty. Bam been in the league long enough to have shown us his best and it’s just not matching up with what we expected. Herro is just a shooter, not really a “scorer” . He can’t lead an offense.
Package both Bam and Herro and go get a legit star to build around.
Why trade Jimmy? He either leaves or he resigns for less if he plays out his current contract. Pat is not going to offer him a new max contract.

Jimmy has always had a mid team he gotta carry. I’d be tired too if I was him. I don’t blame him too much. Not even shitting on the heat players but look at the rest of the teams in the league and we look small.. nobody fears us anymore even as the underdog
The HEAT could most definitely get Fox and keep Jimmy. They can free up close to 100mil this off-season with expiring contracts being traded and Jimmy opting out. If Fox really wants to be in Miami talk Jimmy into opting out & see if he'll do 3yrs 125-130 instead of the 2yr 100. Trade Terry, Duncan a young player Jovic or Jamie with a 1st round maybe 2, and that would leave the Team with enough money to get a few pieces around Ware, Bam, Jimmy, Herro, Fox.
With the young group they are developing this season. Keshad Johnson, J.Christopher, I.Stevens, Larsson, Dru…. the Team would be in Great shape. IMO

I think jimmy is fine rn. People get frustrated with him cuz of his low shot attempts sometimes. but he is just trying to get the team involved and create offensive. It’s players like rozier, bam, Robinson and some others that are not consistent offensively.
he is going to be 36 and is not getting any healthier. he can’t play a regular season let alone a deep playoff run. and we wanna give him a max contract? it’s time to move on, the honeymoon is over. we need to be realistic and think about the future of this team.

I thought last year, keep Kyle & get Siakam. But idk. The Heat’s saving grace was Dame & maybe Spida. Every other player/rumor was unrealistic or not good enough to give up a young core for. I say rebuild with this core NOW or pay Jimmy & let him ride into the sunset as a Heat lifer then rebuild after he retires. which risks Bams prime imo. So idk pick your poison honestly.
The problem is Jimmy’s body is clearly breaking down. The strategy of going with a hybrid youth and vet squad isn’t working. They need to pick one way and make changes. Unavailability has plagued this build and hindered us from building consistency. Our best chance was the bubble year. With jimmy not getting younger, I can’t see paying him making business sense for the long term future of the heat. It will just extend this mediocre build
