Truth is Sixers beat the hell out of embiid body trying to figure out what they were going to do with the team every other year but then embiid made it worst by going to hard in the regular season trying to do things like win mvp or break records for 30 points streaks knowing he’s already injured!!
I think the sixers know they’re the initial reason he got hurt so thats why he gets away with all the mistakes he made after that but enough is enough ….Something really has to give
Just as the league was moving on from 6' guards we have two. If a 6'6 guard is fast, and a 6' guard is fast, just makes sense that the 6'6" guard gets down the floor faster. Teams are adjusting to Maxey's game, but starting to get his shot blocked going to the rim. Thought that what NN was building in Toronto. Drummond, Gordon, Lowry, George and yes Embiid are not 2025 NBA. Isiah Thomas said the league needed small guards to dribble the ball up the court. Larry Brown wanted 6'6 – 6'8" players that can switch everything who dribble, shoot, pass, 3's, and d's, and rebound. 4 second to shoot, dribble or pass. What San Antonio runs forever…..
Just can not miss on drafts. Noel, Embiid, Okafor, Simmons, Faultz, etc…. Murray was there in 16', but we thought Simmons was real deal. Get a 6'6" point guard who dribbles, shoots, drives, hits FF'S at a plus 80% and is a heads up POINT GUARD. Tony Parker, Steve Nash, Rod Strickland, Hardaway, Cheeks, Magic, Marbury, etc….
The 2 future guards for this team averaging 43%, play little defense and average 6 assists between both of them. That's tough.

Are you aware that the Orlando Magic won 10 of their 11 last games without Banchero? You act like they are more or less mediocre right now due to him being out. They are 3rd in defense rating and have several tall athletic and young players. Philly is a mess. Gl vs both Wagners, Bitadze, Carter (who came just back), Isaac etc. with Yabusele and Drummond. Even if Embiid plays…he cant even run and jump anymore as it seems and is a big minus defensively.
The team will continue to unfortunately have Embiid as the center because of his contract and his injury history. When you trade him, you gotta have as healthy as possible so you can get useful players and picks. You have Maxey and McCain and Yabusele to work with. They have currently KJ Martin and the Clippers pick to use to get better. But having Morey as GM gives me no confidence so ever that he will make the right decisions. Too many bone headed decisions have been made by this organisation and this team right now is drowning.
Dude NN is a major problem but nobody wants to focus on this. I dont care the 2 bozos are hurt. They shouldn't be this bad. Look at the Nets. They have more talent?? Switch Fernandez and Nurse. Sixers would have 10 wins. Nets would have 3.
