If I’m a Miami Heat fan, and if they play like this all the way through the trade deadline, I would pray that the front office does work in trading Jimmy Butler and rebuilding this squad. Cuz if Jimmy opts in after this season, then you’re stuck with a 35-year old who’s not the same anymore, he’s hella expensive so you can’t trade him, and you’re just stuck in the mud with this team.

Jimmy to Bucks for Middleton, Connaghton and 1st round pick swaps in 2026 and 2028. Miami know they're not getting multiple picks back for Jimmy, this is more or less a salary dump move. Middleton and Connaghton are more tradable, they can perhaps flip them for 2nd round picks later.
