Im gonna keep saying it until they do something. They deserve everything they are getting right now. They were way too proud of last season and were never real with themselves about who they are. They should have been trying to get better. But all they did was hamstring themselves with bad contracts. They gave out 2 Austin Croshere deals and maxed out 2 guys who arent max players. Its mind boggling how they can be this incompetent.
They were a 6th seed that got to play the Bucks without an MVP caliber player and the Knicks without several key starters, and they struggled with both.
Nembhards 30 footer was the worst thing to ever happen to them. It hid the truth about the reality of this team. They shouldve gotten swept in the 2nd round. It would have given them a taste of the post season but not filled thier heads with nonsense.
They hit the celing last year and it was middle of the pack. Now they are underperforming and best case scenario is we finish barely over .500. And thats only if they find themselves offensively very soon, but they havent shown any signs of that.
And for all the people who said the experience of making it to the ECF was so valuable? Oh really? Thats just being dense. It all depends on what you take from it and this team obviously didnt end the season hungry to get better. They were full of themselves and it shows.

Hi Tony… Pascal mentioned in a post game he likes playing with tj because they play faster… according to cleaning the glass combos of tj benn obi and pascal …only 159 possessions…131.4 ppp and hold opponents to 108…. Combos of tj obi and pascal in 293 possessions 120.8 ppp and opponents 110.7… combos of tj obi benn and without pascal 168 possessions ppp 118.5 opponents 128.5… it feels like they need a balance of offense and defense… tj obi benn and ty are good too 131 possessions 124.4 ppp opponents 103.9. …tj obi benn pascal no ty 113 possessions 129.2 ppp and opponents 111.1….. just seems like pascal tj and obi have a little chemistry that we can capitalize on….i see it game after game and i think benn adds an additional offensive punch

I know you haven’t mentioned this and it is a delicate subject, but it is being completely demonstrated during this time that Jarace Walker is a lost cause. He looks lost out on the court. He has no instinct and no skill set transferable to the [pro game. He is a terible ball handler. He has no ability to get his own shot. His defense is average at best. We need to cut our losses here and let Furphy take over those minutes. I know he is only 21 but any 21 year old thatwent on to become a started or good role player is showing signs of this at this age. I wish him only the best, but we should move on from the 2024 version of TJ Leaf.
Carlisle is switching up lineups…except the obvious one!!! Start TJ damn it!!! Our starts have been atrocious lately!!! Move Haliburton to SG…Mathurin to SF…etc….why is it so hard for Carlisle to comprehend today’s basketball!!! 😳
