Why would anybody of note want to willingly go to a team where if there is success one particular player gets a majority of the praise and adoration, and if the team struggles they would get all the blame and ridicule? I get it. Lebrons like 48 and the future of the team is pretty cloudy. If bron leaves, whats next? They dont have a ton of picks, they basically only have AD after. its not the sexiest place to go if you want some stability as a player.

Who wanted to be lakers before? Kareem in the late 70s, Shaq in the late 90s and then Lebron recently. Itās not like theyāve been every year someone wants to play there. Once every generation or two a big name comes and thatās it. Once Lebron retires theyāll be butt for 10 years until another star goes there. I never understood the narrative of āeveryone wants to play for the lakersā. Itās just not true and never has been
