I didnt like last yr definitely donāt like it this yr. If it is a true Meritocracy the starters should be amen Jalen tari jabari sengun.
Udoka acts like he's the superstar of the team. He thinks he's on the same level as Pop or Kerr, despite not proving himself in this league. Udoka isn't even better at his job than Jalen or Alpi are at theirs. I can't remember the last time a 'star coach' won a championship. The real stars should be the players, and the coach's job is to make them even better.

I am 1.71 m and I can shoot 3 points better than J.Green. Also I dont understand Udoka and asking him, why ÅengĆ¼n is sitting at the bench while same loosers are on the parquets ?
Would you have been MORE disappointed if tgey had NOT erased a 31 point deficit against a team like the Warriors? I find it odd that you are not even factoring that in. Not many teams could have done that, even in this era. I say be a little more patient with your coach. Kerr screwed up his lineup and schemes all of last season and barely was ahead of Houston going in to post season. Give your team (and coach) some credit for getting into OT after an extremely unlikely comeback.
Why us Udoka not starting Eason it doesnāt make any sense. Eason has been one of the most consistent players on both ends. J. Smith needs to be coming of the bench he is very inconsistent.
Let's remember i know its been tough as a rockets fan…but for us to be relevant and to have out of region content creators and hell….even the national media is jumping on. Its WAYYYYYYYYYY too early to be over criticizing or annylizing…But….I get it as an inspiring content creator myself…that we gotta have topics to talk about. Fred playing trash in all six games but coach udoka rewards him by playing to many minutes when he is playing bad thats favoritism he together with dillon always close the game even with bad game like shooting bricks
I know it's still early but we need to also have a discussion about FVV. I just looked up his stats and dude is shooting 28% from the field and 28% from 3 after 6 games. He has to pick it up now because the rockets aren't going anywhere if he's shooting sub 30%.
The reaction vs. action thing, I agree he doesnāt have a philosophy but he has an ideal, I think he wants to be that team that can beat everyone at their game. And defensively I think we mostly have the guys to do thatā¦rim protection being the weaknessā¦and I can understand wanting that. Imo coaches generally fall into one of two types, the ones who want to dictate and the type that wants to be impervious to the other teamās attempts to dictate. And weāll see how he gets there, I get your concerns though, and I agree this was a coaching loss.
Fredās really off to a slow start, but everything Iāve been hearing all off-season heās damn near an assistant coach now, so that gets tricky. Jalen Iām ok letting him roll with it, Alpi I think the issue is that I donāt think he is fundamentally an Ime type of player, not saying he doesnāt respect his game, just I think his ideal 5 is a defensive presence first and foremost. Brooks is a culture move, I think Ime does anticipate replacing him in the starting 5, but I think he wants that to be a kind of graduation and we arenāt near that yet. Jabari is maybe the biggest puzzle this season, I donāt know what to think yet.

Ime Udoka is the best coach we've had in a Looong time and we are nit picking on him giving us an Identity and defensive presence, the reality is this team havent had the Will to compete in Yeaaars, Udoka is not the problem thats an emotional reaction to go at Ime right now, at this point its On the players, the players came out with the wrong energy, they was playing Soft lets just call it what it is, we praise the Man for giving us what we needed and now we acting like we was winning an doing great beofe he came. There is no perfect coach out there at the end of the day the loss comes down to the whole team. It was a Team loss, we havent done anything Yet our players are not even proven like that for us to try to attack Coaching right now, we Was a laughing stock of the whole NBA before that Man came here. Y'all need to stop

I have said it and i will say it again. FVV and Green Can Not, I repeat Can Not be the starting back court, I donāt know how people are not seeing this. Both Green and FVV are inefficient scorers career wise and can not start. Since Green is the future, FVV has to go to the bench for Tari Eason. Let Green be the ball handler. I donāt care about FVV whoās not going to be in this team after this season.
Why the Fuck is FVV playing damn near 40 mins? I thought we drafted Reed Shepard to take minis away from FVV rather his mins have increased.
What the Fuck is Imeās obsession with playing Fred so much mins even then Fred is killing this team with his awful shooting and now defense.

Ime playing Jalen and FVV in overtime while not playing Sengun was poor coaching.
Each of the 6 games so far has featured a really good half and a really poor half..once we get it to 3 outta 4 quarters we will bounce a bunch of teams out of the gym..but itās 6 games, everything so far is fixable š¤
If Ime keeps doing poor jobs like this Rockets should hire Frank as the coach.

I think Tari Eason is a championship piece. I think heāll eventually go to a contender and be a glue guy to help lead a team to the chip
