Ppl Who wants udoka out is Just dumbb. If anyway gm does whom would like to replace at first? He is a def coach and i like it cuz if u cant def u cant compete in playoffs. I'm sure that Ime Will figure it out the off strugle soon. Give some time.
I don't know man. These weird bench rotations are something I'm not getting used to. Feels like every min we are swapping the team before they even get a chance to get used to the rhtym
Love the casual use of Tuckmans team development theory š
What happened to all the up and unders, pivots and pump fakes, the stuff that really made al p special.
No way am I getting rid of Ime right now. Offense will come eventually, some "core 7" players may have to be moved. But the hardest things for coaches to do in this league is getting their players to play defense and he has proven that he is a coach that can do that.
The real problem in the team is that there is still no hierarchy. Udoka is an old-school coach and does not offer other options to the kids in Offense. When the ball comes to Alpi, no one moves except Tari and Amen. Jabari falls far below expectations. The same scenario always happens. I do not believe that these kids will change with Udoka because the guy has no offensive scenario.
All these stars refusing to play the Rockets and they still 9th seed. S/o to the association. The Rockets doing the right thing finishing 11th this season. IYKYK
Itās definitely time to start Tari & Amen over Brooks.
Shooting 3 points with 20% is the main problem.
Great show and Go Rockets!!!
As always wise closing remarks and coments Thank you Frank
İ want to see Alpy shooting mid range shots, they dont look fency but they are efficient for wins..at last he seems like he found his spot, and there is empty space under the rim if his teammates cut there, this can be a very good offensive weapon for Houston if Tari and Amen are in game and they do cuts more and more than Jabari…and think Jalen green should force the paint rather than taking forced 3s ,he is way much better when he drives inside , let the young players ball more, they should get used to each others game
Can you make a breakdown point out the issues in Jalenās offensive game? I feel like his trainers are spending time on the wrong stuff. Heās really bad at creating offense from a standstill and without space. His slowed down, midrange offense is nonexistent.
Yall want a star player. But donāt realize that THAT STAR doesnāt want to be here. And whoās to say the star wonāt buy in to our system. Which we donāt really have offensively. And Jalen wants to be here he bought in with his contract. Whatever star we trade for isnāt guaranteed to stay here or help us WIN anything. And thats not including injuries. We lose 2-3 players for 1 star just for him to get injured and now we have a bigger issue at hand.
I just donāt understand the point of having multiple assistants and staff if Ime is still running basic plays on offense. Are the players not adapting or is the staff not pushing thier talent, or is it something else entirely?
Iām about to be out on the other rockets podcast and fans because itās only 10 games and fans and podcasts are already crashing out. Just not realistic expectations. I feel like we are right where we need to be in our rebuild and players. You are the only level headed rockets podcast channels. Keep it up
Props to Tari and Alp , they put on a good performance yesterday
The Rockets should trade for Harden. I think Harden surrounded by this young group would be amazing.
I'm extremely frustrated with Ime but I'm still not out on him. I'm holding onto the thought that he's cooking something behind the scenes but some of the decisions that he makes make me wanna hurl
We appreciate your commitment Frank! Jackson, Greenleaf and you are the G.O.A.T (not necessarily on that order)
We donāt have a young superstar. Thatās the difference between us and okc
No reason Jabari should be starting over Tari and Amen. Both better defenders and more efficient on offense, more hustle. Iād say trade Dillon Brooks and Jabari and let Tari and Amen fill their roles.
I can't believe you mentioned Alperen so little. š”
Man its ime's second year and we still don't know what this team is playin? Terrible switches at defense! absolutely (mind blowingly absolutely!) no communication whatsoever! terrible spacing! The team is obviously a young and low iq team and I see ime drawing complicated plays every break, and apparently the team is failing to execute these every and every time! ime is running out of excuses buddy, if there is no playoff this season there is absolutely no sense to continue with this coaching team..i've always been advocating nba teams to hire top class european coaches to up their game but I presume there is an unspoken ban to do that! Compared to Euroleague, 95% of NBA is downright retarded gameplay wise..such a waste man!
š£ļøStart Tari! Also, cut some of FVVās mins man. We could use more Bari at the 5 and Reed mins. And I agree, the offense is still too vanilla and basic. No off ball cutting, no multiple actions, etc. Iād love to see possessions where every player touches the ball and weād swing from one corner to the opposite side of the court. This high pnr cool to run like 40% of the time, but spamming the same offense for dang near 90% of the game is diabolical. Iām still high on Ime too, but hopefully we get an offensive mind in the building to assist.
Play the vets if the youth don't work.
Talk about how Fred has been at point
Hi Frank. I agree with each of the points that you had touched today.
In one of your next videos, I would like you to talk in deep about what you think the Rockets should do manage the FVV situation, where he continue to play horrible and playing 38 minutes a game.
On another hand, I'm so happy that we all agree that Tari is performing at a level that he should be starting and the most shocking thing about his monumental leap is that he's coming from injury, lost 75% of last season and we are only 10 games into the season.
Things look promising and what we need to do is prioritize the offense issue.
Take care! and see you later on X.
Really good information have to give them more time only 10 games in Iām sure the coaches are seeing the same thing. Iām really glad Jalen and Alpi like each other because they can work it out among themselves with coaches.
Just like what I said on Lockdd. To be honest, at this point, looking at our horrendous offense. I want to see Reed and Tari on the starting lineup. Sans Bari and FVV. Imagine FVV coming off the bench and maybe finishing the game. Just give Reed some minutes and see what he does as a starter.
Do not agree with sitting Jabari for Tari. You sit down D. Brooks for Tari. Secondly, Reed is really good.. coach needs to give him the keys in late third quarter and early fourth⦠by giving the keys I mean that Reed runs the offense and the team looks for him like GS looks for Steph off screens. I believe the most talent is with Sengun, Reed and J Green. Those guys they got it.. basketball ⦠the rest are either athletes playing basketball or good defenders.. but, Reed, Green and Sengun should be the trio that will take us to playoffs and contention
Watching the WAS game, āreluctant to passā is an understatement. We get pass first, high IQ guys and trap them into ISO game. Forget about offensive identity, we donāt even have a culture.
Team is really struggling with not having a true point guard and not having consistent 3 point shooters consistently at the corner and the wing. Jabari not being a good 3 point shooter is honestly a massive drag on the offense.
When I see an interesting game, I like to watch The Chop Shop and Locked on Rockets the next day and watch the replay that night. I just watched the Wizards game but I don't want to rewatch that crap. We don't have good shooters and Stone thinks these guys are going to mature and become shooters. I remember Stone saying the Rockets didn't make the playoffs because they needed to play better. Stone and Ime blame the players too much. When your team can't shoot, get rid of the ones that can't and trade for players that can. Stone thinks was can draft a 20 year old shooter out of college and fix the whole team? Jalen might have All Star qualities in him but he is too lazy to bring it a whole game, much less every game.
No more lives after the game s?
My nickname for Arem and Tari: The Smother Brothers
You have gone the route of that Locked On Rockets podcaster and elevating Sengun with wishful thinking. Sengun has not improved defensively because he does not have the requisite tools to ever be a good defender. It's obvious you and the other guy are not old enough to have seen Hakeem Olajuwon play center. Hakeem contested every shot that came inside. Sengun just throws up his hands and surrenders. Why can't you guy report that. I think it's because you want access to the locker room and the player. The reason he will never be a good defender is he is too short (about 6'9-1/2" tall, not 6'11 (even in shoes). His arms are too short (negative reach), no lateral quickness (or in any other direction), no ups and he is too slow to run the floor with this team.
Shake up the Starting Line-up coach.
