Willie should have been fired last year. This team needs a new voice in the locker room, they seem unmotivated and Willie is not the type of personality that can get young dudes to fight for him.

It's crazy they couldn't find a pg who could facilitate it could be veteran or someone who is not that great scoring just to steer the offense. Jake they don't want to even think about running an offense through Ingram on the L even though that's his go to. At this point at least try 🤷

This team confuses me so much we deal with injuries and need a center. Most reliable JV above average center not the best defense but we have Yves who would be able to play those games and we let go. We need PG Willie loves defense but trades Dyson Daniels? What's up with Willie always gotta have a scrub in the lineup like play all the best players sometimes let em cook.
Willie Green is horrible at setting up offensive plays. He gone to keep running the up tempo offense without a PG don’t get me wrong Boston looks good but he is forced to play position he should not be in. I think it’s time to get rid of Willie Green. I wasn’t Griffin fan but what he has done with the draft and trades has helped this organization even if their having losing season it’s gone to be all on Willie Green at this point Willie Green is riding that mid level line to under as coach
Going into the season without a Center was a huge red flag for me.. why we didn't trade BI & CJ while they still have worth is beyond me the team management and coaching is 1 of the worst in the NBA at the moment..

Believe it or not this is actually the best position for Willy Green to possibly be in to keep his job. Also keep in mind that Zion Williamson has no leverage at this point. His contract is no longer guaranteed. If they’re smart they trade him to one of these teams tanking (Utah).
Agree. BI isn’t a fast enough decision maker and doesn’t have a tight enough handle to be the primary initiator on offense. He doesn’t play with the correct pace to facilitate hyper efficient offense which is why it seems like he doesn’t add much when looking at plus minus, but I think making him an offensive fulcrum could change a lot of that and get the best out of his skillset rn. Also have him move off ball and get more catch and shoot looks
Gayle Benson has so much respect and admiration for Coach Willie Green but deep down inside she knows he's got to go… I'm just saying…
um the offensive strategy isn't the issue … for large parts of the season, the starting lineup has been BI, Jose Alvarado, a 19-year-old rookie, and two other new young players who came off the bench for other teams It's a testament to the Willie Greens coaching that most of their games have even been competitive

After Ms. Benson fired Dennis Allen, I think Willie Green is on the hot seat too. If David Griffin is at risk of being fired, she has to put Mickey Loomis in the same boat too. She can't play favorites anymore. It is probably time to clean house on both sides with the Pelicans and the Saints!!!

David Griffin, Willie Green, CJ and BI have to be let go asap! This team is unwatchable, sloppy and there is no chemistry. Dyson and Naji are missed but Murray was a good pick up despite his injury. Pels medical staff should take more of the blame than Zion because this team is competitive when Zion is on the floor. Zion is too good for this losing organization in my opinion, would love to see him on the Knicks.

I feel like the Pels need a big, they have a nice amount of wings, and with Ingram contract expiring could you see them trading him for a potential starting caliber center like Ayton? I know he’s probably not the best option but I think the Zion situation isn’t gonna work out.

Keep your heads up though. Murray wasn’t our cup of tea and didn’t bring what we needed on either side of the court but he might be better now that he’s back at his natural position.
I had said at the time of the trade, when you all and everyone else was piling on and saying we got robbed for trading Murray and not getting Ingram, that if you don’t consider contracts or what we gave up for Murray, I would do a Dyson for Murray trade straight up. Murray was a bad fit, didn’t like playing off ball and wasn’t the on ball defender we thought he was and even though he was considered the better player at the time, Dyson fit the role we needed to fill on our team better than Murray. He’s done that and more.
