I never much liked Westbrook, I had seen him play dirty and usually looks angry. But now I'm thinking Jokic is a genius for recruiting him. All we need is Christian Braun's breakout season and we're a total contender. I don't know what's with Murray, sure wish he could back in Championship Murray mode.
Finally there is another great playmaker other than Jokic. And there is someone wh9ncan actually made plays and dish dimes to Jokic.
Really hope Russ can get his first ring in Denver this season

Idc what y’all haters say 😂😂😂 Westbrook is a perfect fit in Denver. He just needed time to adjust to the system. You can’t find a better 6th man in the league. I hope the Nuggets stay healthy and win another championship.
I agree with most here. The last few games he has been playing well and impacting the game very positively. I was at the Jazz game when he started in place of Murray and his stat line was meh with 5 pts, 7 assists, and 3 rebounds in 31 minutes (with 4 missed freethrows), but his impact was consistently palpable. He put pressure on the defense constantly and opened the floor for the other guys. I don't know how many "hockey assists" he had, but it was at least 5-6 (made the drive to collapse the defense, passed out, defense rotated too hard, pass to open guy for bucket). This is stuff we didn't have last year at all. His defense and his effort were great (he got the defensive player of the game chain, don't think Reggie ever got that). His overall impact is lightyears ahead of Reggie Jackson (who is the better shooter). Honestly, if Westbrook scores, that is really just a bonus at this point. We don't need that everynight but we need everything else he brings. Overall I've been pleased so far.
