Minnesota has an awkward roster after the Towns trade. Ant really needs to start at PG and let DiVo cook from the two. Mike Conley should be the Kyle Lowry of this team not the floor general.
Jaden had a good game, imo. He still needs to be better at finishing at the rim, but he hit his open 3's, played good D, and got some scrappy rebounds. That's all we need from him.
I noticed more Naz than Randle in the 4th. Julius offense is fine (even factoring the ball stopping vs playmaking). It’s his lazy help defense that hurts the team
So many things from this game. Wolves defense is back. Ant finally used more middy. They trusted Rudy on offense, and they closed the game with Naz Reid over Randle. Naz is just better on defense with still efficient offense and therefore needs equal or more minutes than Randle.
Ant and Rudy stepping it up last night. Rudy playing awesome lately. Let's face it, Conley had made a huge impact on his return, without a good quarterback, the wolves are average at best. Still need to cut down on our TO's. Randle playing better but his potential is so much better, especially without the ball. He has been in the league for sometime now, not expecting any changes on that end.
I think people are overreacting to the struggles of Minnesota this year. Clearly Randle is the problem by not being on the same page, but almost certainly he will improve or get traded
Randall has been showing progress on defense. He needs more awareness of his teammates and quick handed defenders but I think he’ll continue to come along. His will is tremendous as is his heart. He is a great enforcer to have on the team. He won’t back down and knows the power of his will (Dawg). Very different from Towns in this way but it could be a benefit if the team’s will to make it happen is elevated.
Honestly I think they were really pushing shooting the 3 ball too much first 15-18 games. Now that they are attacking inside the 3 point line they look more balanced.

Ant is consistently a good passer, but when most of your teammates are shooting 30% from 3 and there’s no off ball action, it makes it really tough

You can see this seed starting to grow with Ant against the Mavs in the playoffs.. unfortunately towns couldn't step up.

i couldn’t watch every single minute of this game. but when/what i did see, the ball movement was beautiful to see.
