That’s what happens when you give two guys max contracts who have never been all stars or made an all NBA team resulting in not being afford to bring in quality depth. Jokic has been putting this team on his back the past 6 years, you have to ask yourself is he tired of it? When does it become enough? I can’t remember the last time the rest of the team took over and let Jokic relax for a night. In my opinion I would legit start Westbrook at Point Guard to bring the energy.

I'm not sure what Coach Malone can do but i have a suggestion.
Start Jokic, Watson, CB, Murray, and Russ if Murray is available tomorrow night.
I think MPJ's defense and defensive intensity is lacking a bit……also maybe add more ball pressure.
The Nuggets tend to play so far off the opponent, get up in them and pressure the ball more.
Less doubling and blitzing which makes you vulnerable to ball swings and open threes.
Everyone, including Jokic, get up and guard.
Try to cause more steals and deflections so you can get out and run.
I like that Russ constantly feeds Jokic in the paint….
See if the team plays a little better with Jamal off ball and taking more catch and shoot 3's…..
See if being demoted causes Porter Jr to pick up the defense….
When Gordon is healthy there is only one + level defender on the floor.
I'm not saying Russ is a great defender but he causes a lot of deflections and steals
I would say Gordon, Westbrook, Watson, and Braun are the team's best defenders, so pairing Westbrook, Watson, and Braun should work in theory.
Gotta beat Atlanta or this is going to be a long season of negative vibes!

Malone is wrong. The Nuggets ARE consistent. Worst team in the league with Jokic off the floor, and really good when he's on the floor.
They need all of their guys playing well. When that happens I think they can go all the way. Joker can't do it all.

The sloppy ball handling by everyone early that led to turnovers and scores was perplexing. Even Jokic was doing it. The whole vibe just felt disjointed. Another big mystery is what’s going on with our 3-pt shooting? We can’t even seem to get guys in a position to make clean shots. We shot 24 3s; they shot 41. With the Cavs, we also shot 24 to their 48. Tonight definitely felt like Jokic against Washington…just not a team effort.
Calvin Booth needs to be fired for signing such stupid contracts to mediocre players lately…

Malone and calvin booth arent on the same page. Malone was there when jokic still a rookie, now he is in his prime where the team should be contending with good role players instead booth wanted to play his stupid method on drafting and develop players. They shouldnt even drafted this yr. The goal was to get decent bench to bring in depth. Calvin didnt fix this issue for 2 straight season.
Either Jokic leave for better team or trade murray and mpj for depth squad. Front office u choose.

This is unexpected. A CAREER HIGH for JOKER to a WINLESS NOVEMBER Wizards and last in the standing. Jokic will not forget this game for the rest of his life. Jokic will then look for revenge everytime he will face wizards. A bitter loss but a good motivation moving forward.
