The NBA Has No Answer for the Cavaliers
We need to talk about what the Cleveland Cavaliers are doing right now. After a rollercoaster season last year where even though they won a playoff series it still didn’t feel like a step in the right direction. And the front office agreed as they fired head coach JB Bickerstaff and replaced him with assistant coach on the Golden State Warriors Kenny Atkinson. Atkinson known for his player development was in theory going to give this Cleveland team everything they needed out of the head coach. In that theory has been proven correct as to start this season the Cleveland Cavaliers are now 7-0 after a gutsy win against the hungry Milwaukee Bucks who in the game looked very solid themselves but are now one in five to start their campaign.

Another video that mentions the backcourt struggle last year BUT FAILS to mention why it strugged. Garland broke his jaw mid season which caused him to lose TWELVE POUNDS, he said it was the lightest he had been since highschool. He was weaker, and it absolutely showed, but now he is back up to weight and can once again drive to the paint with confidence. This is one of the true biggest differences between this season and last season.

The NBA has no answer for the Cavs? Lmao stop it… it took a miraculous 4th quater by Garland for them to beat a new and still "figuring it out" knicks team. The Knicks controlled the entire game leading by 13 most of it,and without a player that usually bullies the Cavs, Jarrett Allen, in"Mitchell Robinson and also no Achuwa and KAT only took 8 shots. Im not knocking the Cavs because they're a good team, but to say nobody has an answer for them as if this is game 50 and they're the best team in the east lol Just barely beat a new Knicks team with no chemistry, they never played the Celtics,thunder,Mavs,nuggets etc lol stop it, we'll see what happens when the next game is played and the season plays out.
IF they stay healthy, yes they can be number one in the east. IF they keep listening to Kenny yes, they can.
garland put on some muscle this summer and is seemingly being coached to play the ball more aggressively on defense. you can see the affect it's having, especially if you look at his fouls per game lol. we need him to be hawking passing lanes and disrupting shots as the 2nd defender and we're seeing that generate a ton of momentum for our team. knicks and magic have hart and suggs playing like that when brunson and paolo are cooking so it was really the missing piece last year. these guys would get pulled for a whole quarter if they picked up 2 fouls in the first and kenny just doesn't give af he knows he has a deep bench if it comes down to it. JB coached the team like he was afraid of their potential.
Dean Wade is the key.

It wasnt a chemistry issue for the galrand Mitchell duo last year, garland was 15 poinds lighter and couldnt eat food for weeks

I’ll be completely honest; as a Cavs fan, after the last couple of years, I really felt as if they’d hit their ceiling. It’s still early and there’s a long way to go, but I will be happy to eat crow on that.
