  1. Between whatever the hell got into DeAndre Hunter and Trae conquering a few of his isolation demons, Quin Snyder gotta be a wizard

  2. I think Houston could come down to earth a bit.. under 50,5 theyre ok, probably playoff but might not be top 5 or over 50

  3. Pacers never had a half court offense and defense has been terrible.. pace covers a lot of gaps but ultimately never lasts.. you have a pg that crumbles under pressure and hunts assists to make make him look better than what he actually is, he is a sloppy player..he relied on just running past guys, league has a scouting report on him now, he gets hunted on defense as well. Factor in the injury issues and indiana was set up for this failure. Turner is a terrible big, can't move and doesnt get consistent rebounds, throws up shots immediately, has very little upside to his offensive game..

I could go on, I'm a lifelong pacers fan but this team is incredibly flawed.. about the only two players i feel good about are siakim and mathurin.. and i feel siakim really should be your 3rd best player on a legit contender team..

If the pacers trade mathurin, they are truly dumb and there's no reason to have any faith in them..

  4. As a staunch Pacers expat in no way they trade Mathurin, but… Austin Reeves is 2024 Austin Croshere, and I wouldn't put it past Indy trading for a white dude. Hali has no confidence, Carlisle isn't running the same pace units, and they're hungover from last year.

  5. MORE RUNNING AND SPRINTING DOESN'T MEAN IT'S HARDER TO PLAY!!!
That's like saying soccer is harder than football. That's like saying an olympic sprinter is a better athlete than an olympic shot-putter. Like… it's DIFFERENT now. Not necessarily harder.
I'm also not sure how much I buy that NBA players are better now. If they are better now, then how come the NBA had to legislate traveling out of the game? Elite NBA players can't dribble anymore? (Apparently not.)
I honestly think role players now are much more homogenous… which maybe makes team-building easier, they might be easier to project onto a team and trade for, but I don't buy that a 3-and-D wing is "better" than a guy like Ron Harper, for instance. PLUS you had guys like Toni Kukoc who would flourish in the NBA now (or Peja and Hedo, who did flourish but would hit another level, would be All-NBA guys in today's NBA).
I don't understand this obsession with thinking that human beings evolve in one or two generations, that's insane. Take a middling role player from the late '80s/early '90s, give him a redshirt year to access gametape, today's equipment, and throw him into today's NBA and he's as good now as he was then. (Maybe better if he can adjust to not having to worry about traveling anymore.)

  6. List of players (who are more likely to be traded) that I would like to see in Denver:

    Kobe White
    Pascal Siakam
    Trey Murphy III

Jokic needs help. Nuggets management is really one of the worst organizations in the league

  7. 17:37 – this is why basket ball is bad to watch now, a lot of unnecessary movement just to set up a 3, probably why people get hurt more now… tired = weak body = easier to get injured

  8. I’m glad house (who clearly isn’t watching much bball with football in full swing) is aware the lakers aren’t trading for sexton, kessler and the clarkson bron played with in Cleveland 😹

  9. House is the best. He should host some (albeit horrible) Wizard and other in-person NBA-game watch parties, plus more solo pods

  10. Grizz are gonna b a 1 or 2 seed. Deepest team in the league and haven't had our 2 best bench guys yet. JJJ n Ja just handled the Celtics too BTW

  11. Heres a Basketball future:
    -Lebron/Steph retire
    -Viewership absolutely tanks
-the NBA becomes irrelevant like the NHL and MLB
