Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau sensed from the opening tip, it was going to be a rough night for his team in their 120-111 loss to Detroit: “The way we started the game, you know, they got going offensively and we weren’t into the ball, didn’t challenge shots,,. got into a big hole early and then played from behind the whole game.”

Can’t lose at home to Chicago & Detroit. This team plays lazy

We were missing our best defense player KAT??????? Its always the players fault, never Thibs What arrogance from an coach who has never gotten to the finals. Maybe its thibs 7 man rotation starting in the preseason that causes slow starts. running out of gas in the fourth qtr, bad def, lack off rebounds, missed FT… His teams limps into the playoffs and limps out early.
Maybe if he started Huk and developed him like he never developed Simms. Maybe he could have given Kolek 10 mins instead of 4 and playing a hurt JB 44 mins. Maybe he could have started Precious instead of Hart who cannot rim protect or reb as well as Precious. Maybe giving Picone 5 minutes a game instead of having bridges playing max 38 average mins in the NBA.

Coach tibbs will never take the Knicks to the championship. Kolek in 4 minutes hits a three with a steal and never sees the game again. Jericho after 4 years deserves a chance at 30 minutes as the backup center but he likes to punish his young players and after 6 minutes no more game for you. The same coach that let Randall get away with all that lazy defense. He is just going to run the Starters into the ground by playoff time.
