This was important for Evan and the Cavs. We already know Mitchell and Garland can go off for 40 points any given game but when Mobley becomes a consistent 20 points per game player combined with his defensive ability and the capability to get 40 points any given game!The Cavs are a true Championship contender now and lead the league in scoring, field goal percentage and 3 point field goal percentage with a new head coach and without seeing how Max at the 3 will look in this offense! I said that when Evan takes that leap the NBA championship will be in the Cavs reach we need to see more but this is what growth looks like! " Let's go Cavs"!

Evan Mobley is ''unicoring'', he is slightly ahead of schedule and if this is the case and they continue to use the 10-11 man rotation, the dynasty starts today.
Evan is a big problem for opposing defenses. He has a soft touch around the rim with his length. If you collapse on him, he ether draws a foul or passes it to someone open at the 3 point line. Now he is shooting that 3 with confidence. The association has been warned. PS. He is also stronger than he looks. That frame might fill out still.

If Mobley can shoot 38-40% from three, other teams power forwards will be forced to defend him at the 3 point line, which will allow Darius and Donovan to attack the basket more, which will lead to either shots at the rim or kick out wide open 3’s.
