Even though the Kings would probably say no, putting Sabonis and Hali together is a bad match. Sure, their offense would improve, but they would be the worst defense in the NBA. Not to mention there is a lot of overlap in Sabonis and Hali’s game particularly as facilitators, and more likely than not one player will limit the effectiveness of the other.
As a Pacers fan this is a no and there’s no questions asked. Giving up 3 players for Sabonis when Myles Turner isn’t that much worse is crazy. Throw in like a first from each team and I think that’s a decent deal
We are not trading back Sabonis. He's been consistently an anchor for us since the Haliburton trade. Yes, he has his limitations but we know exactly what we will get from him day in and day out. The OX is not going anywhere. Thanks Pacer, the trade is looking better snd better with time.
