The Indiana Pacers Suffer WORST Loss of the Season to the Depleted Charlotte Hornets

UGH! Yeah, that’s right. The Indiana Pacers looked absolutely putrid in their efforts against the Hornets (with the exception of McConnell and Walker), so Alex Golden and Facci discuss: the game, the lackluster effort, getting beaten by a team on the 2nd night of a back-to-back and how the Pacers progress from Friday against Chicago is forgettable with another disgusting performance. Tune in to join our misery and thoughts on the team! #bluewirevideo

  1. You know you’ve hit rock bottom when TJ McConell is dropping 30 and your two highest paid players combined for 18 pts 😭💀

  2. I disagree with your setiment about Siakam about his age being a factor for his fatigue. it's the increasing mintues. I don't think he is in a decline yet. This Pacers team is treating him like last year's Toronto like team on offense like a role player. Why is he in corners? Why are they using him a decoy to get their shot off? He usage is down, points, rebounds, shots, and assist numbers. When this happened, he fouled more, and he tried less. Maybe he should soldier on sure, but why should he when he when he has been in this situation here before. He is disengaged.

Nevertheless, this is not a good team. The stars can not be stars within this system since they are based on equality instead of equity. There aren't enough good defenders on this roster to even construct a good defense. There is a need for taller players, etc.

I think Pascal and Tyrese could benefit from a movement shooter like buddy in the lineup, too.

  3. Good for you, Alex, for not being shy with your disdain about the product this team is putting on the floor right now and about Myles, in particular.

  4. Bring back the fast pace play!! This roster is meant to space the floor and run run.. Why keep Toppin if ur not going to use him properly he is made for that type of system i get injuries but look at some tape of last year Rick this is ridiculous. Haliburton time to earn the money your making! I can't get into everything wrong with this Team but it starts with Hali not being a star and pace. Plus my god use spicey p as he is meant to be used. I'm embarrassed of how this team is playing. Your pros act like it…

  5. Guys ill say it again Nembhard is out of position. He's really a point lead guard. We need to move him for a really good 3 wing.

  6. I have only seen one game this season that was better than last season's average.
At the same time, some of the worst games in the last 10 years have been produced.

  7. It's obvious this team doesn't play well together. It's either trade one, or trade both at this point.. Hali played better with Obi at the 4.. As soon as they made the trade last season. They struggled like crazy on Offense. They had to play soo much harder. Swinging the ball around trying to get a single shot.. because spacing was complete trash.. Suddenly no one is getting to the basket, or out in transition like before.. That's only gotten worse, like I figured it would as they've continued to slow down coming into a regular season.. Yeah, all our player's are bad on Defense.. But the guy you went after in the recent trade that wanted a max.. That kept you from going for Hartenstein, OG or Naji Marshall and trading for Caruso.. Is a traffic cone on D himself.. He doesn't move at all and when he does, he falls over.. lol He's passive and so is Myles.. You can't have two passive bigs who don't huslte on either end.. that play the same lackadaisical way and a PG that doesn't defend.. that has 0 burst and looks to have this I'm defeated mentality since the beginning of this year. Idk what it is that has some player's so down.. but I'm beginning to wonder if it's all basketball related at this point.. I think a lot of it is due to personnel changes within the roster.. league changes.. change in style due to the trade… the biggest downside being the contract cost.. the fact we could have had 3 other player's instead who are actually defensive minded.. maybe kept Smith and had 3 solid young player's. All this I was saying before OKC ever made any moves.. They seem to be making the right choices too js.. so I must have been right.. It's frustrating.. then it's the way we've been guarded. It's too easy for team's to lock in on Haliburton more than ever now.. The less weapons you have.. They stop his offense and cut off his passing.. it shuts down the entire team.. add in less speed, shooting and cutting.. no one can seem to step up in the way this offense is set up… I mean your other max player is Pascal.. Which I don't believe anyone sees as a scoring threat.. can he get you some buckets? Sure.. Is that good enough as a 2nd piece, or who you want to try and take pressure off your main guy?? Hell no…. so therefore you get a stagnant crap offense.. one that's up and down, with wayy more downs.. It's no coincidence that the Raptors are playing better, more fluid basketball this year… All this bs I called from day one.. We gave up too much for the wrong move.. That being a move a small market can't afford to swing and miss on.. Not only that, a team with such a bright future.. Year's down the road of what would have been one of the best contenders in the league.. Blew it, big time.. All this bs, these dynamics suck and put everyone in a funk.. it's no wonder really.. anyone that couldn't see these thing's before, are feeling it now. You can't have these 2 together as your max player's and find success.. If you could have brought Pascal in as a role player and still signed all these other dude's I mentioned.. Sure, but this was never going to work this way.. Either on a different team I believe would be better off.. Soo.. what are we going to do about it??? 🤷

Ridiculous, you keep thinking well if they would only play this way… But you can't teach effort and play styles that work together.. smh. I can't.. meanwhile I'll watch Hartenstein in OKC and become even more frustrated.. as he sets phenomenal screens, passes like a PG and crashes the boards..🤦🙇 Caruso lending himself to double team's, creating turnovers and hitting 3's.. Think about how that could of been us and dream about good basketball again..

  8. This team doesn't move the same way.. Despite any success they have.. It isn't what is best for this team overall.. The fit hasn't worked well enough.. So they need to change it.. or figure out a way to play together.. this is torture.

  9. This team is disgusting. Keep in mind Paschal and Tyrese both make more per game than Roger Brown and Mel Daniels did COMBINED for a SEASON

  10. Newsflash "media", this team is soft both physically and emotionally. TJ is a man, full stop.

  11. Just finished watching the game, let me be really clear: Time to shake it up. This is unacceptable considering the talent on the roster. We've been so damned inconsistent, I can tolerate it if all averages out at the end, but it is looking increasingly unlikely.

  12. McConnell being the leading scorer and scoring a career high 30 points tells you something about this team. There's only one player getting quality minutes that's giving any effort at all. This the problem with a 82 game season. They all think they have time to get it going but it will be over before they realize it. I really think this team is a lottery team. What's the deal with Mathurin? He isn't doing anything. No defense, no rebounding and he can't score.
