The Wizards aren't going to get Cooper Flagg anyway. There is bound to be a bigger market team with a larger fanbase that is bound to need be given lifeblood and Flagg is a too big of a prospect for the NBA to be given to the ''wrong'' team. Ewing to the Knicks, Bron staying in Cleveland, Wemby to the Spurs (successor Robinson/Duncan and going to the team of French GOAT Parker): it's all too coincidental for my liking that all these generational guys go to the for the league ideal spots. Unfortunately for the Wizards nobody gives a flying fuck about them. The fact they are still not even talked about now is saying it all.
I have said it before and I keep saying it: those odds aren't to discourage teams from the tanking, but for the league to control the outcome in case there is a bigger name prospect.
