Great take RB. This very distressing news has thrown a lot of the fanbase into similar Anger. Joel isn’t a 25 year old young man anymore. He is in his prime, 30. He needs to be a leader for the team, and lead by example. It’s terrible to see he really doesn’t care to do these things.

I actually went into this year of Philly sports and told myself who cares about the Phillies getting bounced early in the playoffs, who cares the Eagles are 2-2, In excited to watch Sixers basketball. But it’s pathetic and unwatchable. I’m tired of this same shit every year, we’re one piece away this and that. How about we go put together a roster and build some continuity. The Sixers about to have the worst situation in the league if they don't do something very soon. Time to stop being delusional about the Joel Embiid era. The Sixers need to get younger and at least try to build around Maxey… It's over for Embiid and all these old guys. It's time to get back to at least being a respectable franchise even if the ceiling of the teams in the next few years aren't contender status. The franchise just needs time to heal and all these old guys are the poison.

what calls my attention is that you (or any of the other youtubers) talk about James Harden when discussing the recent failures of the sixers. It's all about Ben S., Tobias H. and now Joel Embiid. Probably for good reason. Because it was a clear mistake to let/make Harden go while keeping Harris. Harden still is an elite player and he would have made Tyrese Maxey stronger, giving him more time to develop and to mature with less pressure. He would have helped Embiid and all the young players on the roster. And he is still an excellent ball handler and a solid scorer. Exactly what he demonstrates at the Clippers now. I am convinced that without Harden Embiid would have never made it to MVP.
