The Hawks have been playing good basketball lately and you can see defensive improvement with the addition of Daniels. However, it’s early in the season and we need to reserve judgement until the Allstar break. They also need to acquire another veteran point guard to back up Trae. I would like to see coach Quinn utilize the bench deeper (playing time for Vit, Mathews and Nance) to keep the time fresh and more potent
At this point, all Hawks players are playing well and contributes. Capela is a rebounding machine playing like he is in his 20s. Even Vit, Kobe doing things to help the team. Only thing we need to control is injury.
I’m a long time Hawks fan and I’ve watched Traes development through every year, and finally someone else noticed that he’s been picking up his dribble almost every possession. The reality is, this season has been his best as a passer, not his best as a scorer but it feels like you can bank on at least 17 assists a game which is absolutely unheard of. Anyways you do have a point. I think it’s because defenses have learned how to guard the Hawks five out pick and roll much better which killed absolutely every one back in 2021, and so as a result Trae isn’t given the opportunity the get down hill on screens anymore because teams switch the pick up top
Trae has consistently been a top playmaker and scorer since his rookie season. Haliburton, Fox, Brunson, Kyrie have all had a breakout season but none have been as consistent as Trae. Where is Haliburton nowadays?
4:23 Facts Buddy deserves that recognition. I didn't even realize it until I started looking more into his game this year. He is extremely underrated. Wish we had him on my Bucks team.
They still have to tighten up on defense tho… giving up over 118 points almost every game isn’t good. Especially when you’re offense has a bad shooting night
Solid take about untapped potential. You'd have to really watch them closely for a couple games to pick up on that. Also Trae has been noticeably good at keeping his dribble alive this season, almost to the point where I'm surprised he hasn't gotten called for a carry a couple of times. Might've been just the Lakers game that he was picking it up too soon.
I'm honestly a bit pissed that after 2021 the Hawks front office wasted that core's next 3 years, but at least everyone from there is still relatively young or still productive for their age. Now that they've finally done a good job of building around them let's see what this team can do.
Trae Young is one of the most polarizing superstars of all time. But he is a superstar bc just “star” players don’t have as many career/legacy defining moments as Trae Young does

1:06 yeah… they haven't hit their stride yet
We are witnessing the end of “the play-in palace “ and the start of something new 🎉❤
In season cup champions

A healthy Hawk team top 4 in the east.

The ease with the way AD and LeBron each put up 40 has to be concerning. Love the bench 3, but something to strengthen over Capela needs to be done
trae can shoot better free throws then giannis tho

Ice 🥶 Trae

4:19 acting like klay isn’t one of the best either, buddy heild not a better shooter oat than klay stop it
All I care about is the lakers pick, lets go for top 5

Seen a lot of people putting out videos on this team during this win-streak. This is by far the most accurate and well thought out. Good stuff.
Lowkey, Trae might be the only player who can come close to Stockton's assists record
You got a discord bro?
They legit playing team ball and better defense!
We also can’t forget that we blew a lot of leads playing bad teams. We wouldn’t have 11 loses if we’re injured and blew leads earlier in the season
Okungwu was the 6th pick not 11th btw but fire video

Currently 28 down to the Nuggets.
No. The Hawks aren't for real. They're like the other professional teams in Atlanta. They strive to be mediocre.
