Bro, I'm a Rockets fan and have been since Yao was drafted. But the reason we're barely on national TV is not because of haters, it's because we haven't won sht. As exciting and young as we are, we couldn't even get to the 8th seed last year. This year is the year of course, but it has to play out before the Rockets will be put back in these big televised games. You know why OKC got airtime last year? Because they got wins. And as for the Spurs, Wemby is overhyped (for good reason) as the next generational talent, so of course the media is rolling with that narrative and put him on the spotlight regardless how bad his team is. They did the same to LeBron's early Cavs team when he was a rookie. I predicted before the season started Rockets will have 55 wins this year at least and getting to the playoffs since the Harden years. Slowly, but surely the Rockets are getting recognition. They literally had Sengun and Jalen on ESPN the other day. They will get their nationally televised games next year. They'll probably be on a Thanksgiving and or Xmas game next year too, I'm calling it.
