If the warriors leave joker under the basket all by himself, then whether the warriors score or not, the ball is just gonna be rebounded/inbounded by the nuggets and thrown cross court to joker for the easy layup. Somebody from the warriors has to stay somewhat nearby joker to prevent the full court pass and easy lay up. Otherwise it's a guaranteed score for the nuggets.

And then there’s American football and baseball, both of which are complete snoozefests. And they’ve been trying to turn the NHL into the same shit too by adding long ass commercial breaks in every possible gap. It’s like Americans go to the games for the downtime instead of the actual sport
With all these NBA rule changes, all players on defense should be forced to be past half court in 8 seconds just like the offense or the offense gets a single free throw. That would eliminate plays like this.
