REPORT: Heat Listening To Jimmy Butler Trade Offers per Shams Charania | Miami Heat Rumors

ESPN’s Shams Charania SHOCKED the NBA rumors world with a report this morning that the Miami Heat are open to listening to Jimmy Butler trade offers. Jimmy Butler trade rumors have dominated Miami Heat news headlines for a couple months after Heat president Pat Riley was unwilling to give Jimmy Butler the 2-year supermax extension in the NBA Offseason. Now, Butler is an impending NBA Free Agent (assuming he opts-out) and the Heat may look to trade Jimmy Butler prior to the NBA Trade Deadline so they don’t lose him for nothing in NBA Free Agency. Heat Report host Nic Rohloff breaks down the Jimmy Butler rumors, and Miami Heat trade rumors on today’s Heat YouTube show. The Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks, and Houston Rockets are the three likely Jimmy Butler trade destinations if traded.

ESPN Insider Shams Charania on Jimmy Butler trade rumors:
“The Heat are open to listening to offers for Butler and making a deal if the proposal is right, league sources told ESPN, and Butler’s agent, Bernie Lee, has indicated in league circles that Butler is open to destinations such as two of the Texas teams (Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks) and the Golden State Warriors. Butler is a native of Houston, Texas. Above all, though, he is believed to prefer a win-now title contender in any trade.”

  3. If you trade, trade for a superstar. Then again, kinda funny how Shams (under ESPN) does this after we beat the Cavs

  4. And now that Scott Frost is heading back to UCF, I expect ESPN to go all ham on him. Distractions all the way

  5. @heatreport I still think it is too early. The last 3 games showed not just an improving (still needs to be better) team but a better schematic by Spo. The team looks dedicated and doing better on taking advantage when stars are missing as of the last 3 opponents. We face OKC soon and potentially those pesky Orlando Magic. Fu$k espn for doing this. Stay focus, Miami.

  6. Until Spo and Pat say something, I'm not believing. Dude just open up his coffee shop the other day 😂😂😂 if traded this season and the next is washed. Because without jimmy this team has no chance in hell even making the play in…this is a straight rebuild.

  7. I will miss Jimmy if it does happen. For me he doesn’t have to be traded but add some caliber player on the team.

  8. The fact that people believe Barry Jackson is a reputable source is exactly what's wrong with the world.

  9. The nba is rigged,,,,jimmy not playing is a part of the rig,,,all these GLASS PLAYERS,,,,break with the odds,,then next day magically ok

  10. 4:37 I like how Spo is this supposedly great coach but no one goes into a series ever thinking "Spo is gonna win us this series."

  11. The team I trade him to is OKC. Gives him the best chance of winning a title and they have 33 draft picks, including our own pick for this year (or next, unprotected, if this year's doesn't convey). For the Heat, that gives us 2-3 years of tanking before our pick to CHA has to convey. That's enough time to get a stud in the draft or trade for one with all the assets we've built up.
