The Thunder defeated the Mavericks, 118-104 tonight in Oklahoma City. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished with a team-high 39 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the Thunder, while Jalen Williams tallied 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the game. Luka Donฤiฤ‡ recorded 16 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for the Mavericks in the losing effort. The Thunder improve their record to 19-5 with the win, while the Mavericks fall to 16-9 for the season. The Thunder advance to the Semifinals of the Emirates NBA Cup in Las Vegas on 12/14/2024 and will face the winner of the Golden State Warriors Winner of West Group C) vs Houston Rockets (Winner of West Group A) Quarterfinals matchup on 12/11, while the Mavericks head home to take on the Clippers on Thursday, 12/19/2024, (8:30 PM ET, KFAA/WFAA/FanDuel Sports Network – SoCal).

    Poor ball security cost Dallas this one. OKC played good defense, but the lack of good decision making by the Mavs made that defense look fantastic.

    OKC is very sharp every1 subs in and ready to score and carruso is back to when he was in LA in Chicago couldn't do all this now he is free.

    Man I havenโ€™t seen anything like this in a long time. Westbrook, KD, Harden, Ibaka, Sefolosha, and Kendrick Perkins. man this young team is loaded.. hope they donโ€™t break up because someone doesnโ€™t want to come off the bench like Harden.. how did that turn out.. should have waited and most definitely won a championship. Oh well. Now we can hear the Thunder loud once again.

    OKC most definitely contenders this year though know they'll be in the playoff run ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’ฏ very solid team offensive & defensively and that's the importance of the game having the skill set on both sides of rhe court

    If Luka isnโ€™t scoring 30+, with 15 rebounds and 15 assists, heโ€™s a net negative. Heโ€™s the laziest player in the association.

    Dallas with 29 FTโ€™s, OKC leads the league in drives and scores a lot of points in the paint but with only 7 free throws. Iโ€™m telling yโ€™all, the league doesnโ€™t want OKC to win, for some reason.

    Dallas didnโ€™t take advantage of Gilbert & Kyrie getting doubled team the whole game . Should of kept feeding the two , and spread the ball

    Who cares! As you see there's no defense whatsoever LMBO! Is just pickup basketball in the park. Everyone gets free and easy shots. No one gets checked no one gets out on the floor for coming in the paint. ๐Ÿ˜‚ No one goes in the paint, booorinng. Basketball is not what it was.
