Need to trade for a player that can fill in washingtons spot when hes out
It’s good to see Naji return and played well after he’s was sick in 1 week.
Even tho they loss its fine, they will get lot of rest and practice lot it to get better and healthy before their game start against clippers.
Let all be happy that mavs bounce back to top 8 seeds after they loss against jazz.

Luka is there problem. No defense and horrible accuracy when shooting
Well, you learn more by getting your ass kicked vs losing by one point. So, I’m actually happy to see it. Thunder defense was so on point.
I saw Luka quit on his team instead of tryna find a way to win
Luka needs to start playing HIS game that’s what he’s supposed to be good at and not get pushed around. The turnovers were abysmal and no showed effort until we were down 20 in the 4th

I just Luka needs to box out better. Too many rebounds allowed by his man. But I dont think Mavs really care about the cup. Everyone thinks the Mavs are bottom tier team and lets keep the energy on that. Helps with our motivation.

I dont know why Kidd didnt trap and get the ball out of SGA hands…make everyone else beat you, just like they did to us..!! You need to run more high/low post actions for Luka…

I was really heated last night about this game. However now after cooling off I wonder if J Kidd told the team to make sure they don’t get injured.
If this was a playoff game I know Luka would have been playing way more physical. It’s not really worth it to treat it like a playoff game when 70% of the season is remaining.
I guarantee he will bring a different energy if we face them in the playoffs again.
How is the audio ALWAYS so bad
Whatever people criticize Luka for, one thing I love is that he always takes responsibility after the game for what he could do better. He’s not focused on blaming his teammates or making excuses just says “I gotta be better.” 💪

Luka +/- was a -14 and he had 6 turnovers.

LUKA IS THE REASON WE LOST….2 PTS IN FIRST HALF 1/7 FG ….HORRIBLE I MEAN HORRIBLE SHOT SELECTION…TAKING TOUGH FADEWAYS WHEN EVERYONE OPEN….AND BRUH THE TURNOVERS…BUT ITS OK MAVS FANS HE ALMOST GOT HIS TRIPLE DOUBLE THATS ALL HE CARES ABOUT AND U BOX SCORE FANS….I BEEN SAYING LET KYRIE COOK WHEN HES HOT
I really hope Omax can secure his place in the rotation, PJ doesn't have a real backup rn.
Not blaming the refs but they did a terrible job of calling this game… we didn’t get a ton of calls that I felt like Okc got without a second guess…. That makes teams change their style of play and the mental rollercoaster battling the refs make players loose focus not just Luka other players also
Idk if its me but I can see O Max being a similar style of play like PJ washington, being able to hit shots, defend and rebound seems like his priority
Too many turnovers from the team, Kyrie not aggressive enough, Luka needs to apply himself more on defence and when he's getting doubled just facilitate more. Klay was great all around he needs to compete like this everytime. PJ Washington was missed, he's a great defender and the Draymond of the team in terms of bringing emotion & energy and he destroys OKC everytime. The two bugs Gafford and Lively were not utilised at all this game… Should've got them more touches !

It was one game. Damn. They know they lost. They,ve won what the last 11 out of 13 games, i think.
Mavs fought hard for most of the game. There are definitely positives to take away. Even though Luka and Kyrie didn't score. They were trailing down by at least 3 points, and OKC had to throw up 50 3s to attempt to win. (OKC knew they wasnt gonna win in the paint) SGA was the only player in doube digits until the 4th, Klay was playing well on both ends on the floor. Also, most importantly, O-Max took a step forward in his game.!!!
Let's build off and improve this and get the top 2 in the West.!!!

Man naji seem like such a good dude on and off the court. Beyond happy the mavs were able to pick em up. Okc played near perfect while the mavs played sub-par but thats a part of basketball the bounce back is what matters!!
