  1. The FA aspect is overblown. Currently, the only team that would have enough cap space to sign him at $52.4m (his option) is BKN (WAS are next with low $40s). Both are rebuilding. If he leaves MIA will only be around $10m under cap. HOU would need to incentivise taking on brooks & londale contracts, so extra picks/youngsters to be added. Green has a poison pill (ext), so that would be hard. Mavs will need to include kyrie or klay and others (inc pj) and only have about 1 1st available. MIA don't want klay. GS is workable but would need to sell MIA on Wiggins' contract or compensate. Add compensation for melton, looney and/or gp2. Even with kuminga at least 1 needs to be added. But they do have 1sts available.
LAL would need to include both available 1sts with little to no protections. That is doubtful due to lebron/butler's ages. Although bron for jimmy might work. But Bron probably says no.
DEN, PHX, MIL just no. No one wants MPJ, Beal, Middleton.
MIA will also avoid taking on extra salary as they are around $2m short of the 2nd tier.

  2. Butlers contract will ensure he finishes his basketball career in Miami. I doubt any team is investing 48 million in a 35 year old Butler who is prone to injury.

  3. Yall all some 🤡s Jimmy didn't say he wanted out an the heat never said they were trading him Spo said they blocking out the outside noise they don't care what yall talking about so they might not trade him I bet alot of yall be hurt if the heat doesn't 😂

  4. I’m a fan of Jimmy but I don’t think he fits with GSW. I don’t want kaminga involved in the trade but I know he would have to

  5. Butler is a bad fit. It’s obvious. He doesn’t fit into their offensive plan, barely shoots 3s and is not a threat at the 3pt line. He’s past his prime and injury prone. No thanks

  6. Anywhere but the Warriors though man. Something about going there & winning still feels like selling out even if they aren’t what they once were. It would just mean more doing it with a team that hasn’t done it much/has less of a championship legacy.

  7. Yeah fck warriors bench and having a 12 man rotation…. Let's get Butler 😂 Trade GP2 🎉 right he only won us a championship

I swear after Covid we just keep getting dumber and dumber

  8. Jimmy on the bucks would put them over the hump. Trade Middleton, a pick and make it happen 🤷🏽‍♂️

  9. Mine as well stay with Miami unless a team willing to give up some good players AND possibly a good or decent draft pick….idc if he 35 😅Heat could be a sleeper still this year if they healthy
