Everyone always overlooks the mavericks having 2 hall of famers in dirk and kidd, 2 borderline hall of famers in peja and Marion, and add amazing role players like butler, chandler, barea, terry, even can throw their third string pg in their beaubois cause you rarely see the third pg on the depth chart averaging almost 10-3-3 only playing 15min a game. Their team was just as top heavy as those other teams and much deeper than all of those teams as well. They were never an underdog I just feel like people were honestly more impressed cause dirk is white lol
Not agreeing or disagreeing but I take this type of stuff with a slight grain of salt, he played for the mavericks, so heβs probably a little biased towards it but itβs definitely one or two. Itβd be like ajar smith saying the Cavs run is the best. He played for them so obviously heβll say that.

95 Rockets had the greatest run. They were a damn 6th seed. Came back from a 2-1 deficit against Malone and Stockton and the Utah Jazz and won in 5. Were down 3-1 to Barkley and the Suns and won. Hakeem dominated League MVP, David Robinson and beat the number 1 seeded Spurs, and swept Penny, Shaq, and Grant in the finals π Stop with the Dirk glazing.
