Imo i say trade p.j kleiber and hardy for him klieber aint better than jimmy p.j aint better than jimmy. Hardy is great but also a great trading asset as well for a struggling team of it were 2 jimmy Butlers vs those 3 dudes jimmy wins
Jimmy would make Mavs clear favorites to win the championship 🏆, Klay doesnt do that, infact jimmy is Boston's kryptonite, klay? Not so much performs against them. If mavs smart they would get rid of klay for Jimmy in a heart beat.

Butler is a great player but not a good fit. Why? Injury prone, Age, $ of his contract, we would have to give up too much. We do need to add 2 more pieces. #1 we need back up for PJ however OMax is playing better. Possible DOE. But price can not be too high. #2. Since Exum is hurt and Hardy is more of a scorer than ball handler and point of attack defender. But as above we simply can't break up our top 8 or 9 players. Players we could move Maxi, Powell, Morris & Lawson plus our second round picks. Just not sure for those players we can get a significant enough return. Maybe Maxi, Lawson & second round pick for DOE. Then Powell and Morris for a point of attack defender and solid ball handler with a mid 30% three shot.

After watching what Dorian finney smith has been doing this year. If the mavs got him back, we would be scary. If not, we should get a C/PF that can help us with rebounds, be disruptive on defense, and at least have a mid range jumper
Totally agree. I love where our team is right now and all the guys we got over the summer. Jimmy is great but we can’t afford him and we’re still a great team without him

im passing for this trade. untouchables right now should be luka, kai and pj. i mean all the guys in the roster are already good. if im letting go of a player/players, probably kleber, powell, omax. other than that, the mavs are good and ready for the title run.

His stats are fine. But he's not a player that Dallas can afford without giving up a Lot of good pieces. Jimmy would not wanna be that low on the totem pole either. The team needs to keep building their chemistry together as is. Boston did the same thing after putting in some years together, and losing in the finals before they went and won it all.

NO JIMMY BUTLER or PG13, we're good with everyone. There has been rumors about the Mavs trading for PG, but again, we're a championship caliber team with our roster, despite losing last night. I'm waiting patiently but impatiently for Klay to start busting out 20+, 30 point games. Klay is slowly starting to look like his younger self despite having Plantar Fasciitis for a little bit. He's back though so can't complain. Also, PG would NOT work out and a trade at this would throw EVERYTHING off for us. Chemistry for sure.
Love Luka but he's such a ballhog
the current roster already have some adjustments to make in terms of chemistry and adapting to system and style of play.. They already have the depth, seven players who can score in double figures on any given night. They just need to capitalize on that, and more so on improving their defense. Because if they're gonna beat teams like Thunders, Celtics, Cavs, or Pacers, they need to match their energy on the defensive end. Otherwise, they're gonna keep losing like how they lost against Thunder the last time.
If they give Jimmy for Powell, then why not.
