Embiid has NEVER been a top player! Top players elevate their game in the playoffs and he has NEVER done that. The definition of overrated. He is a regular season player and I will argue it with anybody!!!!
I feel like Embiid is more quickly near of the end of carrer than coming back to his mvp level, his left knee is not able to sustain the weight, power or quickness needed in NBA, everynight, and mentaly does not show signs of will power to overcome it unless he already know it's over…

Mailbag: Based on what you've shared about your current basketball philosophy, does it not make sense for the Lakers to play Quincy Olivari? He's a speed guard who can defend, is athletic (ran track his whole life) and is a shooter. He also is similar to Knecht in that his tenure in college has made him NBA-ready despite being a rookie. It seems a no-brainer to me.

Iv said it before. Joel might be a good regular season player but is a bad team mate. His points were massively inflated because of the 11-12 free throws per game he was getting because of his flopping which was seriously becoming embarrassing.

Embiid is the lamest overhyped player. Tatum is corny to a lot of people but the dude has put in work and won his chip. All Embiid has done is flop around, dodge real fades with Jokic, got a sympathy MVP and made excuses for all of his failures
Remember the 76ers were capable of winning without Embiid in previous seasons? Meanwhile the Nuggets become the worst team stat wise when Jokic isn’t playing. How this man was ever compared to Jokic and how people still pick him over Jokic is insane
People like Embiid make me sick – they want all the accolades without putting in the work.

Let's make the record straight. Joel went to the Mavs game with the Philly ownership. Heard PG was doing the show and went up to the broadcast. You also stated how Embiid was great in his role for Team USA and helping play against Jokic. Dude played on 1 leg in the playoffs and avg. 30 and 10 being doubled and besides Maxey no one else was consistent. Embiid before he got injured last season was on as statistical pace in terms of scoring not seen by big men.
We need to give him one more MVP. It’s not his fault.

I think Embiid has a leadership problem because growing up he was never the best player on his teams. In fact it seems he was one of the worst growing up.
So now that he is the best player it’s his first time learning how to lead. Unlike most pros in sports who’ve been leaders on their middle school, HS, and college teams.
The Joel Embiid leadership piece could be applied to Kawhi as well.

JOKIC WOULD NEVER allow his teams to fall into what the Sixers are doing.
1. Jokic would never be shown late to anything. He's always the 1st one on practice and the one who leave the latest. AFTER EVERY GAME. He go into the gym and lift weight, get his conditioning better, do extra reps of workouts.
2. Jokic is extremely vocal during timeout, during meeting and always on conversations with the coaches to see and make sure they are on the right page.
3. JOKIC NEVER demanded the team to go and sign players, to do things. He see his role and mission as the one who go to the court,play games, bust his ass, win games and the GM and Ownership role and mission is to put competitive roster. The only player Nikola Jokic ever requested was Russell Westbrook because he saw the team was lacking explosiveness, intensity,energy and veteran leadership. Him and Westbrook are the same kind of people who love winning and playing Basketball more than anyone else on the league.|
4. Jokic would never put himself on a situations where he's being call out and looking like a bad example to his teammates. He's always the one hugging the young players. Embracing them and molding them to play the game the right way. Look at how he mentored Peyton Watson, Christian Braun. He takes and embrace all the rookies who he see truly care about playing good basketball.
Jokic type of leadership isn't like the one people see. Like the one who is yelling at everyone, blasting them on public and being a dominating ball hogger. Jokic leadership is silence to the public, but private,educational,with purpose, intimate with comradery and by pure example. I'm gonna do my job and be the best player in the world opening the perfect path for you guys to do yours and i'm gonna keep being the best player in the world as long you guys help me to reach it.
Embiid isn't a leader. Embiid is a spoiled brat who never hear no all his like and the Sixers allow him to grow into this entitled self centered manchild. He hold the Sixers hostage and that's on them for allowing the creation of this monster manipulating his dysfunctional culture
