There is no way they are going to trade D White
If it ain't broke don't fix it. Sam is the perfect role player off the bench especially when your other 3-point shooters aren't hitting from deep. Sam and Peyton Pritchard take turns in that sense plus his defense is underrated imagine bringing in a Ben simmons-like player for more money but as locker room problems and ego problems not to mention his inconsistency as a shooter. Please Boston do not do this
DWhite is the quintessential player who is untouchable. Plays both sides of the ball, is a great unselfish teammate and has endeared himself to the fanbase and the community
It's actually next season that the Celtics may have to trade 1 or 2 of their top 8 to reduce payroll. It's most likely that they would part with Holiday or Porzingus because of age, injuries, and years left on their contracts. But in reality…they may have to throw in Hauser or Pritchard to spice up a deal to not take back much salary in return.
N they should stay with the team and then make a trade or two but not now, he make moves on the and of the season!!!!

These rumors are getting ridiculous until I hear from The horses mouth this is nothing but gossip-girl content. Brad Stevens is known for making trades that end up looking like the other team got fleeced. This will probably be Al Horford's last season. That will definitely free up cap space… This is a chess move if anything by Brad just to see what he can get in return. Unless it's a first team all NBA All-Star caliber two-way player Bald Derek White isn't going anywhere.

I like Hauser, but I don’t know that he has as important a role this year. He’s not a real replacement for Tatum or Brown if they get hurt, and Pritchard is ahead of him as a guard. If we can get a tough athletic forward who can drive to the hoop and collapse the defense like Brown does, it might be more valuable.
