Haha – the great Barrier Thief
To say Jalen is the hawks best player is just laughable, did u see the way trae completely controlled the 2nd half last night or the offense fall apart when he went to the bench. Oh yeah and not to mention he’s the best playmaker/passer in the entire world lmao
It was only a controversial win from the warriors perspective, but if you look back in history the warriors also benefited from some controversy as well I.e. Kevin Durant stepped out of bounds but it was not called
Yeah u trade Trae young ur the rockets waiting for jalen green. Literally may as well sell the team if u trade Trae
And everyone wants to win a championship…30 teams. If u don’t have a mvp u can’t trade what’s good for just perpetually starting over. Trading Trae young or even bringing it up is not only uninteresting it’s disrespectful. Oh and if ur wasting time pondering how interesting it might be to trade Trae young ur not thinking about how to improve the team in small ways or just financially plan with the piece that are replaceable aka they should be looking at Zacharie and if he can free deandre to be a valuable trade asset (picks, more defense)
Cup means nothing with officiating like that. NBA becoming a joke
Nugget fans are easily the most insufferable now💀 they got nothing to talk about but Jokic rest of the team is trash
Why are we acting as if the Hawks are just a play-in team? There is no “if they get in” with the Hawks. They will be in. And there’s no reason to be so sure the Knicks are a better team. Hawks are only 1.5 games back, have beaten them twice, and played without Hunter and Bogi for large stretches of the season. And have we forgotten that the Hawks beat the Bucks last week?
Ayyyy, Matt Moore in the building! Lookin good next to that All NBA logo
McHale Bridges is not good at physical basketball
My first time listening to Matt Moore. He was great!
Jalen Johnson has been the Hawks best 2 way player this year BY FAR.

Trae has had some good games for sure, but his splits are🚮 38% FG% & 31% 3P%. He’s def passing great, but Jalen Johnson has clearly been their best 2 way player!
Trae is a great passer, but THIS year so far Jalen Johnson is > Trae Young by every metric!
JJ > WS/48, BPM (1.8 vs -0.7), PER, VORP, TS%, eFG%, +/-, Net Rating, OnOff, Defensive Rating, REB%, STL%, BLK%, TOV%
They won @ Celtics without Trae Young vs lost by 30 to Nuggets without Jalen Johnson.
The main reason I thought Nuggets win @ Hawks was a lock bc Jalen Johnson out & Bogey out too.
Also Hunter has “underperformed” bc of injuries mostly. In his last 2 playoffs he’s been 19 & 5 on 50/41/80 while Trae has been terrible last 2 playoffs (38% FG%, 27% 3P% & 5 TPG…-12 per 100 ON vs Hawks +1.4 with Trae OFF).
PS I think all the courts besides the awful Red/Yellow ones are actually dope in the NBA cup especially the blue/green ones.
Lmao. Trae isn’t going anywhere. Just uninformed nonsense
Just like the good old days!
Trade trae and you have the 2004 hawks a bunch of 6'8 guys who can't run an NBA offense 😒 i hate when people who don't watch the hawks talk about the team
I saw Matt Moore and thought this was a locked on nuggets podcast lmaoo
That Jokic comparison to LeBron & his Cavs team is on-point.
Terrible guest
There is no such thing as perfect refereeing in the NBA. If your team has to rely on the referee to give you a “fair call” or favourable call to win a game, then you don’t deserve to win. Warriors didn’t score a basket in the final 3 mins. If you scored a basket during that period, did you have to rely on the referee’s one call? Payback is a bit&&@ch, Warriors fans. You guys got so many favourable calls in crunch time in the biggest moments in previous NBA key games. It’s about the blood time for you to taste your own medicine. You got your dynasty, it’s time to move off the stage and let the young teams like Rockets take over the spotlight. 99 Curry, 99 Draymond!
Jokic is having the best start to any year ever in modern NBA, but it’s def not most ever points + rebounds + assists ever over 19 game span (as Matt said) as that clearly belongs to Wilt who in 61-62 AVERAGED
50.4, 25,7, & 2.4 over 80 game season.
Wilt 2/8/62 to 3/14/62 (19 games) AVERAGED 53.4, 25.7, & 2.5 APG (81.6 total). Jokic is at 56.1 (19 games).
Wilt’s first 19 games of 61-62 he AVERAGED 45.9, 26.5, & 2.2 (74.6).
Wilt CAREER AVERAGES of 30.1, 22.9, & 4.4 is 57.4 PPG + APG + RBG.
Wilt first 10 years?

51 and in 61-62 was 30.8, 12.5, 11.4 (54.7)
Most PPG + APG + RBG since Kareem’s rookie year in 69-70 (This is all on StatMuse but you have to type out rebounds per game FYI not RBG):
Kareem 56.02 in 71-72 (34.8, 16.6, & 4.6….32.4, 17.4, 4.2 in first 19 games)
Jokic 56 in 24-25 (32.3, 13.6, 10.2)
Luka 52.9 last year
Westbrook 52.62 in 16-17
PS “This is who Jamal has always been” is not true as last year he was elite per 100 and analytically (33.3, 10.2, 6.5, 2.5 stocks +9 per 100 on 48/43/85 and #14 in OBPM, 19 in BPM, & 19 in VORP per game….he’s not close to that this yr).
PSS today SGA is #1 in MVP bc Nuggets 7th (OKC on 65-17 pace w/ SGA 24/24 games played), he’s #1 by far in per 100 net rating of MVP candidates at +16.4, #1 in raw +/- (11.54 per game 3rd best of anyone since 96-97 pbp era behind only 16-17 Curry & 15-16 Draymond!), #1 in WinShares (4.8 Jokic 4.5), 125 ORtg vs 104 DRtg while averaging 30+, 6+, 5+, 2.8 stocks on 63% TS%.
Joker best player in world more than anyone since 12-13 LeBron, but that Bron team won 67 games and if it won less then 50 he doesn’t win MVP.
In the Rockets vs Warriors the final foul wasn't a bad call. I dont like it in that situation but based on the rules it's a foul because the warriors player didn't grab the ball, he grabbed the shoulder. So I hate the call but it's not a bad call. We throw that around to much.
The warriors player didn't have a hand on the ball so they couldn't call a jump ball.
The Rockets are so damn physical that over 7 games teams will struggle if they don't get them out in 4 or 5.
The Rockets locker room moto is "sometimes me, sometimes you, always us." That's a dope mindset to have.
Too much nuggets glazing from your guy. They aren't winning this year he is dreamin'. I nearly fell asleep
Trae cant be traded bcuz he's a young vet that the young guys follow
I dunno, Matt… Big Perk says Giannis is the best player in the league
Hold on chat
How does every single team have so many good young and exciting players and trade assets & yet MPJ is our biggest trade asset on the Denver team . Worst GM’ and ownership, about to waste a generational talent like Jokic ..
