One FR last year could have put DEjonte Murray on the team . The 5 choices given for Bridges could have landed a healthy , young two way center .
Thw team is worse than last year with few assests to improve .

At this point, it is painfully obvious that picking up the rookies' contracts of Tyler, Dadiet & Hukporti was not smart. We need a real power forward and backup power forward ( Precious-he is not a center). They did not want to go over the 2nd apron. Winning sometimes means you have to do what is necessary not cheap. The Knicks only have one identity they need to fill. Because MSG is more famous than the actual team, there can only be the identity of "relentless defense", and they are no where close to this identity. This is a new year and the Knicks cannot depend on the same moves as last year. They must be new & improved, which they are not. The target on their backs is bigger. Even with adding Towns & Bridges, the rest of the core of Knick players should have gelled into a well oil machine and they have not. Is this basketball IQ, heart or conditioning? Or is it all three? Is Thibbs the coach to lead this team to excellence? I think it is a question of all 3 above and though Thibbs has done an above average job, I doubt the way he coaches will produce what myself and every other die hard Knick fan needs……a championship( a few)!!! I have a deep love and respect for my Knicks. They need to show fans that they are all in and giving everything to winning. A track coach, yoga, more basketball IQ, at least 30+ assists per game and unselfishness…. until it is time to be a little selfish!!!

Getting rid of DiVincenzo and brining in Bridges and KAT to Knicks basically has destroyed Brunson's career. This Knicks team is so hollow, Bridges and KAT play no defense or freaking non-existent defense. Leon Rose simply fked up this offseason. I truly do not believe Brunson would have approved these trades.
Cam Payne comes in and just be running a pick up game and chucking. Deuce or Kolek should be running point on B squad. But at same time I feel Cam gonna hit some dagger in a big playoff game so they letting him and we all letting him be his talkijg to himself self.

Need to play HoK alongside KAT period. As soon as he gets back from ankle injury stubborn bone head Tibbs needs to make these adjustments as soon as possible. Sims and Chewy not the answer. Move Hart or Bridges to bench and play HoK at the 4 OR 5 for at least 20 minutes a game alongside KAT and watch how the defensive dynamic changes to positive. We do not need to go outside of team to add a player we have the pieces on the bench right now on our bench in HOK and a 6'8 Dadiet another long and lanky wing who also can play D. Tibbs needs to wake the hell up.

Knicks are overrated. They are lucky to get a play in spot at season end. They have great players just not the right players.
