Jokic is 29 turning 30 I think he has 4 years prime time…
What Denver needs right now is not this season but next season going forward and that is roster flexibility….
If I am denver trade Everyone except Jokic, Murray because his contract is terrible and CB….
Jokic has proven he doesn't need another all star to win but solid bench and very good role players
And for Jokic as he ages he needs to be sorrounded by athleticism and big wings..
I’ve been waiting on the episode where hope and positivity was brought back into the conversation. Joker at in 24/25 can be Duncan in 02/03 and I’m ready to see it!
Watching how Houston, OKC, and even Atlanta are stocked with perimeter athletes and defenders is a little bit of a depressing comparison. As for Arenas – he is an anti-white basketball player hater. The energy he and some of his guests put into crapping on Jokic and even Clark in the WNBA is crazy.

Jokic CLEARLY best player in the world, but as of 12/12/24 SGA deserves MVP bc of the following facts:
OKC 19-5 (65-17 pace with SGA playing every game)
#1 on raw +/- +277 (+11.54 is the 3rd best of anyone in pbp era 96-2024)
#1 easily +/- per 100 of MVP candidates (+16.4, Tatum +12.4, Jokic +11)
#1 in WinShares (4.8, Jokic 4.5, Giannis 3.8).

I disagree Jokic can win THIS year with only 45-46 wins. If they win 50+ agreed, but THIS YEAR if Thunder win 60-67 games and SGA is playing exactly the same as this year so far he’s MVP if Nuggets only 6 seed no matter how God tier Joker is (that’s what history tells at least. Yes he won in 21-22 on 6th seed, but that was also bc there were no other great candidates on 60+ win teams).
PS not sure why Swipa said 2012 LeBron when 13 (12-13) & 08-09 are his 2 best seasons. Even 09-10 (when talking RS). 08-09, 09-10, 11-12, 12-13 all amazing regular seasons though.
12-10 says it's not the greatest season ever. If Jokic can't get the 4th seed and over 52 wins he doesn't deserve the MVP. Sorry.

Jokic does not need ANYMORE MVP trophies, we need to focus on getting Murray and AG healthy and making a run in the post season. Go Nuggets!!

Murray is unfit and unathletic. Can't beat a lamppost and is weak on D. Plus the going to UFC and refusing to join the huddle don't send great vibes. And with him like this, there is no hope.

Looks like KD may still be trying to get at Swipa. I get it when you're at the end of your career, which saw Curry carry you to your only titles, and you have no hopes this year you gotta attack fans of a different team to pretend you're still revelant to the game.
