Our guest this week is non other than Dereck Lively II of the Dallas Mavericks. In this episode, Lively opens up by talking about his passion for Legos and how it helps his hand-eye coordination. Then he gets into his draft night and thinking he might be a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder. He also gets real about learning how to play with Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving and what it was like for the Mavs to make the NBA Finals his rookie year. lively is such a great player and an even better person!
The steal of last year’s draft. His defensive versatility is fantastic and very underrated passing and vision for a young center. Most young centers are black holes once you pass it to them in the paint. Lively finds open teammates if they collapse on him.

PJ is a bigger difference than broke hip. Also, Mavs were clearly not trying as hard that game. Caruso's only difference for the game was that he was trying harder. Which sticks out so much because he's white.
